No cosmoline shortage in Romania
Review by James on 3/13/13 -
Just received 2 mags for my my TTC Tokarev pistol. Now I have 4. These 2 were priced right compared to what some mags will set you back. There was enough cosmoline on them to grease up 40 wild pigs. I love cosmoline! It gives you a good reason to thouroughly clean whatever comes protected in it. These 2 mags were just about as perfect in condition as a brand new off the shelf product. Loaded them both up and can't wait to get out in the desert and fire some rounds through them. Thanks Classic for speedy processing, and getting hard to find items for us to buy. Keep up the great work, and keep the mil. surplus coming!Quality

Romanian TT-33 Mag staisfaction
Review by Larry on 2/22/13 -
I just received 2 Romanian TT-33 Surplus mags. There was so much cosmoline on them that I knew that underneath they had to be perfect, and they were. Everything that I have oredered (P-64, 1895 Nagant, and just ordered an M-38) have been better than advertised. I haven't gotten the M-38 yet but I am sure I will be happy with it and if I am not Classic Firearms will make it right. I also can not believe the short amount of time all of my orders have been delivered to me even in this time of Government uncertainy.Quality
Thanks Again,

great mags
Review by BillG on 7/2/12 -
Some friends and I bought these mags when they were on special 4 for $50.00. Between us we bought 16 of them together (to save on shipping). All 16 of the ones we received function flawlessly. You will need to clean them thoroughly as they do have a good amount of cosmoline on them. Some of them look slightly different than others, but all function great!Quality
Service from Classic Firearms was very good too....ordered on Tuesday and had the mags on Friday. -
Hit and Miss
Review by Big John on 6/14/12 -
I've purchased 10 of these mags. Quality is spotty. They come packed in Bulgarian ear wax (Cosmoline) but that's fine. Easy enough to clean. Of the 10 i've purchased, 2 were duds. One doesn't fit the mag reciever very well. Out of shape and appears to have had some rough treatment in the past. It scrapes when you put it in, and the finish wore very heavily on the one side. Appears to have been dropped, thrown or stepped on, probably by some drunken commie officer of yesteryear on a homemade vodka binge. The second dud won't feed. The spring inside the mag continuously gets hung up. When you eject it after firing a couple shots, you can shake it and hear the remaining 6 bullets rattling around in there like rocks in a can.Quality
Upon arrival, I would urge any and all to test these mags THOROUGHLY. These ARE used surplus after all. If you plan on using the Tokarev as a home defense or conceal/carry weapon, you do NOT want ANY surprises if the moment of truth comes.
Again, I purchased a total of 10 mags. 2 were bad, which equates to a 20% failure rate. Do not take these mags for granted. Take em to the range or wherever you go to shoot, and put them through their paces, including rapid firing to make sure they will function reliably. The other 80% of my Tok mags function flawlessly.
