The more the merrier!!

Recently purchased the new M57 Toikarev pistol, which came with two 9 rnd mags. Had a few problems the only time I shot it, but I think it was the surplus ammo. The pistol though is outstanding, and a really nice looking gun. Why have two mags, when four is better. Received my other two mags last week, and have cleaned them up and lubed them and they are ready to go. The price seems a bit steep, but hey, a brand new pistol, and brand new mags to go with it, you can't go wrong. Again, Classic has come through with outstanding products, prices, and service. Thanks Classic, you have helped me expand my surplus collection. Be bold, and go old !!

Slight Problem with Extra Yugo Tok Mag
Review by Larry on 4/10/13
Quality
I very recently bought a Yugo M57 Pistol from Classic and ordered the extra mag. I just finished cleaning up the pistol and it is flawless. The mags that came with the pistol worked flawlessly but I had a small problem with the new extra mag. I read one of the former reviews where they also had a small problem with the extra mag. I followed his advice and did a little filing on the magazine catch cutout as well as the slide catch and it now works well. They just need a little wearing in. Classic is about the only place you can get these mags so get them while they last.

Don't buy an M57 without extra mags

9 rounds is better than 8, but plenty of spare mags is even better. Why buy surplus when you can get new at nearly the same price?
Just as advertised

Ordered on Monday and received today (Thurs). The mags was just as advertised, New in excellent shape. I cleaned the grease off them with mineral spirits, let dry and soaked with Rem Oil and they worked perfect in my M57. Thanks again for the EXCELLENT service.

Buy a few for carry gun

I was a USAF Security policeman and am now an armed private security person.I have carried many handguns ,for many years, since 1971. I have most of the current pistols and revolvers from the 22lr to the 500 magnum. One of the most useful and underrated cartridges for work against armed badguys is the 7.62X25.The pistols for this weapon carry from 8-9 rounds.Your life,if you have to use your M57 to protect that life, only has 9+1 protection. With your second magazine it takes you to 9+1+9 or 19 rounds. Most cops now carry at least 45 rounds for self protection. Is your life less important? My current carry gun ( i have some 40 to choose from ) is the Zastava M57 with four 9 shot magazines, for 36+ rounds of ammo. You can settle for the two mags that came with your pistol or you can add two or four more as extra life insurance. These mags are the same as the mags that came with your new M57.In my professional opinion,if your life is in danger you should have at least four mags on your person. Good mags. Jim
Flawless

My Brother and I both purchased a Zastava made M57 tokarev. These magazines work flawlessly in both of our firearms. The only issue you might run into is that the cut out for the magazine catch has a sharp edge so it might snag on the firearm's mag release lever. a lil loving or a few times thru your firearm, and any sharp edges will have worn off.

the magazines are brand new, a little oily/greasy, was an odd combination of both to be honest, but a shop rag and 3 min of elbow grease to clean it off, and i had a fully functional 9 round magazine.

the bluing on these magazines has been done well, and there isn't any "light spots" you can sometimes find on guns or magazines made elsewhere.

the follower in the magazine reminded me of a 1911's from either kimber or wilson combat, with that "raised finger" portion on the follower.

I bought 8 of these and every single one looked flawless, and performed well!
