Hi. Further to my last posting, on MY rifle the fitting was not straight forward but to be fair I have checked other Mosin bolts to be 'flatter' making the fit of the bolt easier. I would recommend taking the scope mount to a gunsmith to have the holes drilled, it
may help. It's all done now, shoots straight, looks cool with a thumbhole stock, the scope now fits fine. The product worked out OK. Only problem now, I need two more rifles, another to keep original and I need to save my pennies to get a 'must have' original sniper rifle! (Just love these Mosin Nagants)

Ordered Monday and received it Wednesday - thanks for the fast shipping. Mount fits and works very well on my 1934 Mosin Nagant rifle which I bought from Classic Firearms also.

I bought this kit for my Mosin. It all seemed simple to set up and fit, it was not as easy as expected! The various models of bolts on Mosins do not all fit the adaptor even with the 'spacer' option. Hours of fileing helped a little. The scope mount does not align naturally on the receiver, Mosins were not made to 'exact' tolerances. The fit on mine when mounted flush to the round receiver was beyond the adjustment of the sight. For sure not everyone will have these problems, but it's not an 'easy fix' option, Mike
