This muzzle brake will reduce the recoil by 50% and it eliminate muzzle rise. There is no need for permanent rifle alterations (so your m91/30 will stay true to form) and no gunsmithing is necessary. These muzzle brakes are made in Texas, and come with a lifetime product replacement warranty. This muzzle brake is specially made to only fit a Mosin Nagant M91/30 Rifle.
These Muzzle brake were made by the hardworking people of Howling Raven, to bring precision to one of our favorite rifles, the Russian Mosin Nagant M91/30. The muzzle brake will fit MOST M91/30 rifles without any alterations however surplus rifles vary and due to slight variations from rifle to rifle, some hand fitting may be required. We have tested these extensively and about 8 out of 10 fit right out of the box, however, a certain percentage may require hand fitting to the slot that locks behind the front sight post. Classic Firearms will not accept returns on this item however the manufacturer does offer a 30 day warranty. This brake twist to lock behind the sight post and then uses a series of set screws to hold firmly in place. The design of this brake is not only wicked looking but really tames the beast in terms of reducing recoil on the Nagant rifle. To me they are a little expensive, but when you see the material and the workmanship, you will agree with me that this brake is well worth it.
