Browning 035459229: Browning's X-Bolt builds on the proven successes of past Browning rifles, and adds numerous improvements. Its adjustable three-lever Feather Trigger system provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up. The barrel is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety, while the 60 degree bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly. The X-Bolt Pro features a true carbon fiber stock, making is extremely lightweight and rigid. The stock is filled with a noise-dampening foam. Additionally, the Cerakote finish on the action and barrel is also on the exterior of the stock for added protection. The barrel features a proprietary lapping process to provide consistent accuracy and easier bore cleaning. This model features a stainless steel drilled and tapped receiver, fluted barrel with a tungsten finish and threaded muzzle brake, and a carbon fiber with textured gripping panels and tungsten finish.
