Oviedo Long Guns

The Oviedo arsenal of northern Spain, officially known as Fabrica de Armas de Oviedo, produced or imported an estimated 1.2 million firearms over its 50 year history, from the late 1800s up until the mid-1930s and the Spanish Civil War. The arsenal was known for carbine rifles and Spanish Mausers, including the M1893, M1895 and M1916. You may find some Oviedo firearms that were purchased from Germany and modified, or even Oviedo-made long guns that were later refurbished at the factory. When military surplus inventory becomes available, Classic Firearms brings collectors C&R eligible Oviedo .308 bolt action rifles. Watch us review M1916 Spanish Mausers, then buy some compatible ammo, including .308 Winchester ammo.
