AUCTION DETAILS: Serial # 562337, matching numbers on bolt and receiver. The magazine is marked 933169. Lighter, almost straw, colored stock with embedded brass dedication plate reading "Georg Sohm, Lehnstr 52a, 9014 St. Gallen." Bluing on receiver, magazine and barrel show almost no wear except very minor wear at crown and some hard edges.
We would consider the rifle Very Good condition and compared to most K31 better than Very Good. The stocks on most K31, and other Swiss, rifles generally exhibit a higher amount of wear compared to the condition of the rest of the rifle, but this rifle was so uniquely better than most that we held it aside for auction. The brass plate in the stock obviously reflects customization from a previous owner. A truely unique one of a kind rifle.
