The Crawford Model 1, collaborating with Wes Crawford, who is well-known as a custom knife maker and a good friend of Cold Steel, is our latest offering. We decided to team up with Wes and designed an economic version of his high-end, custom flippers. The outcome is a masterpiece that demonstrates effective affordability without compromising function and quality.

The blade of the Crawford Model 1 highlights a broad saber grind and a robust, pointed tip that's ideal for cutting and slashing with ease. Fashioned from Japanese 4034 Stainless, the blade is hollow grounded to a thin, razor-sharp edge, delivering a cut at the slightest contact. Integrated into the tang is Wes's unique flipper, enabling a swift, lightning-fast opening.

The handle of this exceptional knife is constructed from mighty, glass-reinforced nylon. Inclusions such as traction rubber inlays and a discreet pocket clip enhance grip and convenience. Safety is a priority for us at Cold Steel. Therefore, we installed our unique leaf spring lock on the Crawford Model 1. Additionally, we've introduced a patent-pending secondary safety mechanism that furnishes excellent resistance to shock and impact when enabled, assuring you safe use every time.
