Historic British Enfield #1 MK3 Bolt Action Rifle in .303 British Caliber. Surplus Good Condition. Enfield rifles have not been readily available in the U.S. marketplace for several years now and we are proud to be able to offer this one for auction. It is C&R Eligible.

This rifle is serialized 29240M, and shows a 1932 date and No1 Mk3* on the butt stock band. A faint remnant of the unit markings are on the left side of the stock, but not enough of the paint remains to tell for sure what it was. The butt stock band does have some surface corrosion that obfuscates the other markings typically found here. There appears to be a minor stock repair on the right side, above the trigger guard. The rifle has the typical dings and scratches you may expect, but the finish of the wood, especially the front handguard, is still very nice. The bore appears to be in very good condition, shiny with strong rifling.
