Fostech 8600-BLK-5.56-6226-4140-BLEM: What's better than a binary trigger? One that comes already installed in a high-quality rifle build. Skip the hassle of installing a binary trigger in your rifle and just take home the rifle that has everything you want. Fostech built this rifle from the ground up, focusing on their incredible Echo Sport Binary Trigger. The trigger has three settings safe, semi, and binary, meaning that the gun fires when you pull the trigger and when you release the trigger. They installed their trigger in a proprietary LITE receiver set that is 30% lighter than aluminum and just as strong. They also include their 13" LITE Mach M-Lok handguard so you can attach all of the lights and grips you need to complete the mission. Fostech was generous and included their Saber Grip, an MFT Minimalist stock, and a set of high-quality flip-up sights ( the ones we looked at had Kriss sights which are very nice ), but sights may vary based on availability. The Phantom comes with an M16 Mil-Spec BCG so that it can run flawlessly with the binary trigger. Another great feature besides the trigger that Fostech focused on is the barrel. Fostech reached out to Faxon to make sure they had the best barrel they could in this rifle. This is a 16" 4150 CMV steel barrel that is button rifled at 1:8 twist. The barrel is threaded at 1/2x28 and fitted with a two-chamber muzzle brake designed to reduce recoil while also maintaining flash suppression. The nitride finished barrel features a mid-length gas system to keep your rifle running smoothly at all cyclic rates. The profile is Faxon's top-rated mid-weight series making this option highly versatile. You do not want to miss out on this fantastic rifle. Note: This rifle ships in a hard case with one 30 round magazine and features a binary trigger. This SKU is officially listed as a blem rifle due to a minor cosmetic flaw. According to Fostech, that means that there may be some very minor color deviations in the Cerakote in some of the rifles in this lot, from the tone of color that the manufacturer intended. This means for example that they may have been shooting for a " pitch black " and ended up with something closer on the color chart to a "midnight black" on some of the rifles. Frankly, we have looked at the rifles and we can't see any issues whatsoever but hey, they are very discerning over there at Fostech and if they sell them to us as Blems we are going to sell them as Blems. Frankly, that is all the better for everybody. We can buy them at a better price, we can sell them at a better price, and the buyer still gets a gorgeous rifle. Once again, any blem no matter how minor will only have to do with the Cerakote shading or a minor spot in the finish. All of the rifles mechanically are absolutely perfect and completely functional. In fact, all manufacturer warranties in regards to function still apply. This rifle cannot ship to California, the District of Columbia, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Florida, Maryland, Connecticut, Washington, Oregon, or Massachusetts.
The Echo Sport is an economical pull and releases trigger for the AR-15 Platform. The Echo Sport has the functionality of the Echo AR-II, the only difference is that you select the echo mode from a paddle rather than the safety sector.
