Fostech built this complete lower from the ground up, focusing on their incredible Echo II Binary Trigger. The trigger has three settings safe, semi, and binary, meaning that the gun fires when you pull the trigger and when you release the trigger. They installed their trigger in a proprietary LITE receiver set that is 30% lighter than aluminum and just as strong. This SKU is officially listed as a minor cosmetic blem lower due to a minor cosmetic flaw. According to Fostech, that means that there may be some very minor color deviations in the Cerakote in some of the lowers in this lot, from the tone of color that the manufacturer intended. This means for example that they may have been shooting for a " pitch black " and ended up with something closer on the color chart to a "midnight black" on some of the lowers. Frankly, we have looked at the lowers and we can't see any issues whatsoever but hey, they are very discerning over there at Fostech and if they sell them to us as Blems we are going to sell them as Blems. Frankly, that is all the better for everybody. We can buy them at a better price, we can sell them at a better price, and the buyer still gets a gorgeous product. Once again, any blem no matter how minor will only have to do with the Cerakote shading or a minor spot in the finish. All of the lowers are 100% mechanically perfect and completely functional. In fact, all manufacturer warranties in regards to function still apply. This complete lower is considered a firearm and due to the binary trigger they cannot ship to California, the District of Columbia, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Florida, Maryland, Connecticut, Washington, Oregon, or Massachusetts. The Echo Trigger allows the shooter to select from 3 different settings. Safe Mode: Firearm will not fire. Semi-Automatic Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled. Echo Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled and also when the trigger is released. The Echo Trigger is designed with safety being the utmost priority. When the shooter is in the Echo Mode and depresses the trigger one round is fired- if the target moves, the shooter can move the selector to the safe position and a second-round will not fire upon release.
