"Original" NAZI WWII German P38 Pistol- Cal. 9mm Luger / Parabellum. Bluing is so nice that we believe it is Arsenal Refinished but not sure. All original German Markings and Factory Codes, Eagles and Waffenamts are Intact. The manufactuer code 359 appears on both the slide and frame. This code represents Carl Walther, specifically the Zella-Mehlis factory, and a production date in the early 1940's. Original serial number 1358 also appears on both slide and frame, and front facie of the barrel housing. The code ac43 indicates the production run and confirms the year of manufacture as 1943. There is an original number on the frame above the left side of the trigger guard XXX'ed out. Import marks as well as the ATF mandated new and unique serial # are under the trigger guard on the face of the grip so not obtrusive. Comes with one 8 rd magazine. Magazine does not appear to have any maker markings. We make no guarantees for bore conditions but in our opinion this bore shows some wear but is serviceable. Should be a great shooter. This pistol is complete and looks and functions great. Actual Photos above should be a very good representation of what to expect. Nice surplus is getting harder and harder to find and this is an important piece of history. Would be an excellent addition to any collection. ... Don't miss this.
