This is bar none the best AR-15 Rifle Value in the U.S. today.

We have torture tested these rifles and I would put them up against anything being sold for reliability...

Now don't get me wrong... There is nothing fancy here... Just a basic M4 AR-15 Carbine... But if you want a great entry level AR, at a really great price....

Give this Bear Creek Arsenal  AR-15 a try. Ships complete with a Carbine Length AR-15 Hard Case , A3 Carry Handle, and 2-30 round magazines....

Some photo's may show rifle with Holographic Electro Sight, or Barska 3x9x40 Scope Installed. ....
These are optional and do not come with this rifle. They are shown here for demonstrative purposes only, but must be purchased separately...

Scopes, Extra Mags, Drum Mags, etc... may also be purchased with the rifle.....

Note -  Stocks may not be as pictured.  AR-15 build components are in short supply due to heavy demand. As such the Butt Stock on these rifles may vary depending on availability at the time that they were built. They will always be a T-6 collapsible stock but may be in different configurations by different manufacturers depending on availability. We do not offer an option on the stock and simply sell and ship them as they are received.

The barrels on these are made from 4140 cold rolled steel and are very top end.

They are not chrome lined as most AR-'s are not. Chrome lining on modern rifles is typically used where there is a high probability of corrosive ammo being used such as AK type rifles chambered for foreign calibers...

Since chrome lining may slightly affect accuracy, and since most AR-15 rifles are designed with accuracy as a benchmark,
and since virtually all .223 / 5.56 NATO is non corrosive...most AR manufacturers do not chrome line barrels.

Just the way I like it - Simple, Smart & Flawless

There was a western television show back when I was younger starring Walter Brennan. His memorable quote was, "No brag. Just facts.". And that's the way this fine weapon from Bear Creek Arsenal is. They don't need to brag about their craftsmanship in this rifle - It does all the talking. Received mine a couple of weeks ago and took it to the deer lease for a try with my wife and son. Used PMC 55grn FMJ at 100yds. After a couple of clicks for elevation, the iron sights were on the money. My wife loves it and wants her own now. My son is a lefty and with a slight adjustment, he was knocking the center out (much better than his dad with his old worn out eyes!). I had already cleaned it before the first shot as it was and is a habit of mine. It had some heavier oil coating on the internals but it wasn't cosmoline. Regardless, everything was nice and tight, just like you would expect from a great quality driven company like BCA.
I would highly recommend this AR to anyone to buy. I will be buying another very soon. Gotta keep the wife happy!
Product Good, Service Not So Much

I have only unboxed this weapon. It appears very solid and well made. My review is based on Classic Firearms' Service. My AR-15 did not ship with two 30 round magazines as promised. Instead, I received two 10 round magazines. I live in Arizona but am currently staying in Colorado. The weapon was shipped to a Colorado dealer. When I asked about the two 30 round mags I paid for, Classic said they couldn't ship them to Colorado. I said that was fine, but since I live most of the year in Arizona, couldn't they send the magazines to my Arizona home which permits high capacity mags. Since then I have received no response from Classic. Radio silence.
I don't think that is good service, noteworthy because the company asserts on their splash page that "we make every effort to live by the Golden Rule." It doesn't seem very "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" to make no mention of the fact that Classic could not send 30 rd mags to Colo., but then go silent when I simply asked them to send the magazines I paid for to Arizona. I would even be happy to return the 10 rd mags. After all, that would be the Christian thing to do, wouldn't it?

I have bought 5 of the Bear Creek Arsenal AR-15 .223/.556 rifles 2 under my name and 3 under my FFL. Fitted all up with a Leapers UTG 3x9x32 bug buster scope, this made a great combination. At this price I was able to give them as gifts to son and son-in-laws. All have been shot several hundred times and shots flawless. I recommend this item because of price and quality. Great going Classic Firearms.
Great company, Products and Service, real Professional.

Amazing, fit and finish is excellent. The case is a lot better than your average plastic case. In the 70's the Air Force called this model the GAU. Officers and senior enlisted flight chiefs were issued this model. As a former Space Shuttle technician here in Florida, your attention to detail is excellent. I would like to purchase a dozen more of these for my Grandkids. Totally Satisfied here in Florida. Thank You again........

My First AR

I'm not a firearms expert. Honestly, I saw this gun and couldn't believe the price. The reviews hold true. I was expecting some type of malfunction because I bought the cheapest ammo out there for my first trip to the range. It functioned flawlessly. The take down and reassembly was a breeze. Now I need to work on my accuracy. I didn't hit two inch groups, but I know it was my fundamentals. I believe the rifle to be accurate.
Broken trigger guard

Purchased this firearm about 2 weeks ago. After about 2 mags, when I moved my finger off the trigger I noticed I didn't feel the trigger guard. Looked down and it was laying on the ground. It snapped off with less than 100 rounds in it. Look is awesome shot nice, figure I'd use this as my 3 gun. it'd get a 5 star if it wasn't for the snapped trigger guard . Overall still works for me so I'm not complaining and classic was fantastic doing business with!! Will buy from them again.

I bought this rifle at about the same time as I launched into my reloading career. It has fired over 1,000 times and the only failures were my own.

I have found ways to make it jam on home loads - but never on a factory round - and I'm pleasantly surprised at how many of my mistakes it actually ate before objecting. In fact, it was its acceptance of "almost good" ammunition that allowed me to think I was making uniformly good ammo.

Not even close. I got bad information and acted on it. I've got better information now and am "paying my dues" and correcting the bad ammo.

I've pulled roughly 1,200 bullets, trimmed and -properly- re-sized the cases and am almost ready to reload them.

Maybe I've corrected my errors ... maybe more lurk beneath the water ... but the carbine has taken a pounding and not let me down.

The prices seem to fluctuate a bit (it's currently at $529) and represents, I feel, a true value. Buy as many as you can at this price ... November is coming and it might be a long, cold, winter.

This gun is a great deal especially for a beginner. Came with standard sights, 2 30-round mags, an adjustable stock, and sling points. It came with the shells of the ammo used for Quality Control and came lubricated and ready to shoot. Not just covered in factory grease. You can pick this up and shoot it right out of the box which I didn't expect.
Exactly what I expected!

1st gun is not just assembled by BCA but completely mfg by them. It's all BCA from start to finish
2nd well balanced, feels natural to shoot,
3rd performed flawlessly. Fired 10 rounds to get the feel of an AR, never fired one before. 3 rounds to get quarter size group from 21 yds
4th unloaded 30 rd mag on steady advance, starting at 20 yds and all rounds center mass
I'm no sniper, this is my first AR but I'm very impressed with my purchase. Oh and the price is great! I think I'm going to enjoy the AR world.

This rifle is amazing. No play at all between receivers. Fires great even with the cheapest ammo I could find. I put all different brands through it flawlessly. Slight mix up from classic firearms. Did not ship with carry handle or extra mag. I called and they asked no questions at all about it. 2day aired them to me. I couldn't be happier. Another great gun at a great price, with great customer service. Thank you classic firearms.

Well Worth the Money!

Bought one of these Bear Creeks from Classic when they were first introduced. Had a hard time getting time to get to the range to try this carbine out, Finally got to shoot it, and it is great. Almost no need to "zero" the rifle. Just two clicks and I was getting nice groups using El-cheapo steel case Walmart Tula. My example had an extraordinarily nice trigger, and all parts were well finished and tight. It felt, and looked more like a $800-$900 price range gun. One of the best values for the $$ I've had the pleasure in spending. Thank you Classic and Bear Creek.

AR15 UPDATE-ANON
Review by ANON on 5/1/2015
Quality
This is an update from my post a few days ago.

Today, I fired it using some cheap Tula 223, the dinky $5 a box of 20 stuff.

The gun functioned flawlessly. Even though I fired some of the worst ammo out there, the gun was accurate on a target that was simulated out to 300m.

I had gotten the gun's windage properly alligned, and was able to hit the target easily. I had trouble adjusting the elevation, but that was my in-experience. I am working on that.

The gun was able to fire without one failure to feed, fire, or eject. I even loaded the 30rnd mag all the way and just fired as fast as I could to try and jam it. All I did was waste ammo.

If you have been on the fence about this gun, don't be. I researched this gun for 3 months before buying it. This was my first AR15, and it was a great choice. It comes with a 1year "bumper to bumper" warranty from ClassicFirearms, and a limited lifetime warranty from BCA.

This gun is worth the price, and it is fun to shoot.

K first off this is the first 5.56 that I have had my hands on since I was in the service to take this review for what it is. For the last long while I have only shot traditional muzzle loaders .ie flintlocks. Felt it was time to step up to a modern firearm to play with.

Took it out on the range today. Ran 60 rnds thru in without any flaws at all. It just worked. after zeroing with only 9 rounds was able to consistently put 5 rnds under a quarter with the stock open sights using PMC bronze ammo. Extremely happy to have this in my cabinet now.
Good Fit and Acceptable Finish
Review by ANON on 4/29/2015
Quality
I received the firearm from my FFL today. So let me break it down:

1)The box: it comes in is useful, but it is still cheap plastic. If you have your own gunbox/case then I would use that, but if you do not have one, this will serve it's purpose. Overall, the case is great.

2)The barrel: is stamped with, "223 Wylde Made in the USA", not "556 Nato" like in one of the pictures.
a)This is not a big deal at all. 223Wylde is a chambering, not a cartrdige. The barrel is made for both 223/556 ammo, and the 223Wyle barrel just makes shooting 223 more accurate without sacrificing the necessary safety of shooting 556, which is a higher pressure cartridge than 223.
b)The barrel looked fine, but the plastic handguards looked a little crudy. I could see some gaps between the seem, and the metal heat guard didn't line up flush with the handguard holes, which is not necessary at all, it just looks off. Overall, the look is good for a $570 gun.

3)The fit: the gun had very little if any space between the upper and lower assembly. Even holding it to a light, I could only see a little light shine through, so nice and snug. Only had two issues.
a)The rear take down pin would not depress using my fingers. After looking it up, that is a common problem. I fixed it by dropping a little CLP onto it, and let it soak in. After 10minutes, I used my thumb to pop it out.
b)The finish on the BCG and the Lower assembly looked a little rough. Now, I understand the gun is cheap, and heavy duty. A couple of scratches or discoloration will have no effect on the gun at all. Some of the parts looked like they had some faint surface rust. I put CLP on whatever looked orange. Which, only 2 places did. The. The Lower had a single spot near the Forward assist that had some orange. I put a little CLP on it, incase it was rust and not just a bad finish. The BCG had orange on the underside, directly opposite the gas-key. I put a drop of CLP on it, and the contact points and let them sit.
c)The bolt face looked to have some rust on that, so I put CLP on that. All of the rust looked to be superficial, and will have no effect on the firearm.

4) Mags: the gun came with 2 Tapco mags, both of which freefall out of the gun when the mag-release is pressed. They do not stick, so that is excellent!

5)Sights: The carry handle and front sight post looked nice, they were turned to the default height/windage settings and lined up nicely. This friday(in 2 days) I am taking the gun to the range to send it's first 100rounds through it.

-I will make a new post Titled: "AR15 UPDATE-ANON" to tell you how it functioned.

I have taken lots of pictures of the parts/gun, and will post them once I figure out how.
First AR ... VERY pleased!

This is a good rifle for putting holes in things, pissing gun-control freaks off and spending your money wisely. The guys I hang with look at the hole in the paper, so they are suitably impressed that a rifle that costs so little is as capable as this one is. For us, a brand name is only useful if "the quality goes in before the name goes on". Apparently BCA adds the logo last.

This review is colored by 1) my years as a machinist / die-maker 2) my (relatively few) years as a shooter 3) this being my first AR platform rifle 4) having sent about 300 rounds of 55 grain American Eagle down range thus far.

Mechanical
Fit and finish are just about perfect. The anodized finish was dark, even and intact. That's about all you can ask of an anodized finish. The upper and lower pins move smoothly with no wobble and their location relative to each other and the mating halves was exactly right ... when the halves are joined, there is no light between them ... which argues that the pin spacings are pretty much perfect and that the mating surfaces themselves are flat, straight, and smooth. Each component was securely fastened, but there was no binding in the controls. Both polymer Tapco and aluminum D Products Defense magazines lock tightly into the well and drop freely. Both hold the bolt open when the final round has been fired.

The trigger is milspec. If you are using this for zombie training, that's good enough.

The Bad
The rear sight is marked 8/3, which argues for either an "F" front sight tower or a taller front sight post. If you are going to keep the iron sights as your primary sights, you'll want to address this. HOWEVER, I was able to set a lollipop zero using the RIBZ sighting instructions found at AR15.com. This gives you "Minute of Zombie" accuracy for anything from 50 to 300 yards.

Fun
Before I could get to the range with this, the BATFE went full retard about M855 and the weather turned crappy ... so I spent too much on some General Dynamics M855 cartridges and some bare bullets to reload them with some day. I also bought a case of American Eagle 55 grain M193.

While awaiting delivery of the ammunition I also bought a Bumpfire (brand name) stock.

And that is why this section comes under the "Fun" heading. Yeah buddy! Both short bursts and a mag dump were the most fun I've ever had fully clothed!

More Mechanical
While waiting for the chance to go to the range, I got the needed cleaning gear and put it to work. When I did the mag dump, the BCG, etc, were (deliberately) pretty wet ... and functioned flawlessly.

In conclusion
As someone who has spent a lot of his life using and making precision tools, I can honestly state that the rifle is well made and I fully expect it to have a reasonably long useful life. I haven't put any heavier bullets through it yet, so the jury is still out on whether I will be changing to a tighter twist barrel. If this barrel will stabilize 75 grain bullets for 100-200 yards, I won't bother changing the barrel out but might, instead, invest in a tighter twist barrel as a spare.

I have a semi-automatic .410 set aside for inside-the-home self-defense purposes, but I can see that a carbine length AR, with the proper ammunition, would also be suitable for that purpose. Look for bullets that expand quickly at nearly muzzle velocity.

This is my dad's first AR-15 and we love it. it showed up the day it was scheduled. The sights are dead on and it has no recoil. Im 6'2 and my dad's 6'5 and the stock is right for us. The price was right for this awesome rifle. We will do business with Classic Firearms again in the future.

The $530 price tag for an assembled AR along w/case and 2 mags seems unreal but in this case is a real value! I shoot about 2x/month so this is plenty gun for me. It didn't take long to get this one sighted and once it was I was shooting 1" groups at 25 yards. And am confident she will do same at 100yards. 55+ grain ammo is what mine shoots best. Fun AR at an outstanding price. I had my eye on an AK when shopping but I'm gald to have purchased this one.
The Most bang for your buck .
Review by Alleycat on 3/14/2015

Please keep in mind. I'am not a AR expert by any means. This Bear Creek AR15 is my very first AR purchase. And I couldn't be happier.
My only complaint would be the cheap adjustable butt stock. After taking my AR to the range for the first time . The adjustable butt stock leaver screw came loose and the adjustable handle fell off . I found the handle but the screw or " Wing Nut " was lost amongst the empty brass shells. It's too bad because this review should be 5 stars !!
So here's what I learned about buying my AR. 1. Always clean, clear and check any new firearm. Although this AR came in new with a well oiled charging bolt. After inspecting the buffer tube spring I noticed the spring had some rust dust and was very dry. Cleaned it up with a little clp and it was good to go !
2. The AR came in ready to be sighted in . Which was very nice. After a few shots down range and a few clicks and this AR was zeroed in .
3. Both the upper and lower snapped together better then a Lego set .
4. When you buy something cheap you expect cheap construction. The first thing you notice is the weight. And this AR has some weight behind it. You can feel the real quality of the heavy metal that was used to build this weapon. It's to bad they cheaped out with the butt stock . Because I got nothing but compliments from other shooters and AR owners At the range.
5. You should always condition your barrel no matter how you spent for your AR . I took the time to condition my barrel. It's a pain in the ass but hopefully it will be more reliable as I learn to use it more .
6. Buy and optic . The A2 sight is great but the cheek welled on the cheap butt stock sucks. Especially if you use earmuffs.
7. Make sure Everything is tighten down before you shoot . Because losing the butt stock nut sucks. Honestly I was going to change the stock anyways but Now i got no choice or a backup if something happens.
8. Use glove when shooting any AR . These rifles get hot . I mean smoking hot !!! So wear gloves .
9. 223 or 556 . With this AR either one doesn't matter. Because this sucker is like the cookie monster. It eats up everything. No bs I used both 223 and 556 and this rifle didn't know the difference. She ate up everything.
10. Pmags .. I really like pmags over the thermo mags that it came with . but that's just me . Getting the carry case was worth the extra money. Although it's not a steel case it's still a nice hard plastic case that fits and secures my new AR and 4 mags. Would I recommend this rifle to a first time AR buyer ? Hell yeah ! To the seasoned vet . I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed either. Would I take this rifle into battle ? Probably not .. Would I take it to the range and shoot all day with it. DAM Right I would. Thanks Classic.. Hopefully see my review and send me another butt stock adjustable arm wing nut .

Great Gun and Value
Review by Nonoy on 2/4/2015

Was finally able to bring this gun to the range to zero and using 5.56 ammo 55 grain XM193 Federal. Result - once zeroed, it tends to hit the bullseye and in some case the same spot making a large gash in the target paper. This is at 50 yards, and at 100 yards still kept doing it.

If you are having second thoughts about buying this - don't. This is a great AR15 and you won't regret buying it.

I wish they make this in longer barrels.

Got this as a Christmas present.

Rifle came in super fast as usual. Rifle was in immaculate shape, not single blemish.
While filling out the transfer paperwork, the store gunsmith broke the rifle down to check it out.

He was very impressed with the quality of the gun and parts in it.

Again another great buy from Classic

Thanks all !!!!!

I purchased this gun while on sale several months ago along with the carry handle, sights, hard case, and two mags. This is my first AR 15. I am very pleased with it as well as the price. At the range the gun was on the money right out of the box with good ammo. Classic Firearms provided an easy transaction and I will definately do business with them again.

I got mine shipped to a local FFL dealer. When I brought it home and unpacked the rifle I was impressed with the finish and the construction of the weapon, I have owned several AR-15's . Although this is a basic AR it will do what I need it to do just fine. I have already put a scope on it and changed out some furniture on the weapon. I have a few more changes to make then off to the range. See ya soon
My First AR-15
Review by Howard on 8/26/2014

Looks to be a fine weapon - good build quality. I don't have another AR to compare it to, but the fit and finish looks every bit as good as the brand name rifles and pistols that I own - in some cases even better. The rifle was delivered within a week of ordering, and the FFL that it was shipped to, (and with which I was not familiar) was less than 4 miles from where I live. No hassle with them, very friendly, and I will be using them again! (Target Zero Supplies, St. Cloud, FL). Plan on putting some metal down range after I return from a trip up North. Classic is the first place I check when I'm looking to buy more firepower.
I'm really pleased.

Fit and finish is first class.
Upper and lower halves of my rifle fit perfect with no gap or movement as in some models I saw on the internet.
Looks as good as it gets. No one would guess how much it cost.

This is a follow-up on this great deal from Classic Firearms. I finally have had the opportunity to take my new Bear Creek AR out to the range twice. What a joy to shoot! I started with 25 rounds of 62gr 5.56 brass then another 125 rounds of 55gr .223 steel. Not a single failure. Operation was nice and smooth. Accuracy is very good. The Bear Creek Arsenal AR-15 is great quality at a great price and just plain fun. "Another great deal from Classic Firearms".
BCA AR-15 Great Deal
Review by James on 6/18/2014

The Bear Creek Arsenal AR-15 is my second purchase from Classic Firearms and my first AR platform rifle. After deciding to purchase an entry level AR, I shopped around for a long time when I found the BCA. It had all the features I was looking for plus a hard case and an extra magazine at an outstanding price. It's a Great Deal! It took a little longer to receive than I had hoped but that was ok as I was not in a hurry. I'm very happy with the out of box quality, everything feels solid, mags don't wiggle around and the adjustable stock is not shaky. My only problem is I've now had it for a couple of weeks and have not had the opportunity to get out and shoot! That's the only reason I rated 4 stars. If it shoots as well as I expect it's 5 stars.

Have always wanted an AR and when I saw this it had everything that I had wanted in one. Had several people more knowledgeable than me check it out. Great rifle, first ar15 and finish is great, no nicks or scratches. After I shot the rifle for the first time (100 rounds) it jammed twice, which I assume is part of the break in process so I'm not worried. Was shooting independance brass, idk if that's good ammo. Will say buying this rifle when their is a known delay would be something to be prepared for though. I just received the rifle on may 6th, when I purchased it on march 28th. I contacted classic twice, and they put me on the next to go list. Shipped the next day. So they will try their best to make you happy. But just be prepared on how long it just may take. Bought the mosin m44 with it, shoots great.

After 3 months of receiving the Bear creek AR 15 from CF I finally made it to the range today. (work sucks) Back to the point, I shot 30 rounds each of American Eagle 5.56 55 grain,Colt 223 64 grain steel cased and Tula 223,steel cased 55 grain. not one FTF. Groupings were tight right out of the free gun case.(not to bad for my old eyes). I bought the rifle before the price increase. What a deal. CF had great customer service and reasonable shipping cost. I am new to the AR family and have no regrets of purchasing his rifle. It shipped within 1 week and all of my shooting buds could not believe the price for an entry level AR. Don't hesitate an get one before they raise the price again.

This is my first AR and I researched heavily, consulted my FFL guy and he told me it was a great buy. He reviewed it and told me as a first AR it was all mil-spec and could be built on. It arrived and we both checked it out. Very good buy and he said even with the price increase people would still get their money's worth. I got it ordered up before the 3/31/14 date and took it our the Sunday before Easter and shot 100 rounds through it. Iron sights and 30yds got 3" groups and shot the hell out of a bunch of random placed orange clay pigeons! Not one misfire using .223 brass 55gr FMJBT ammo. Simply Happy with this purchase! Thanks.
Great Entry Level AR-15!
Review by Adam on 4/22/2014

This is a fantastic entry level AR. The fit and finish is outstanding and on par with rifles twice its price. The gun came very well oiIed. I was able to shoot very respectable 50 yard groups right out of the box with no adjustments to the sights. The ONLY downside I found was the carry handle started to come loose after about 20 rounds. A little Loc-Tite fixed that right up. I mixed up the ammo for the first 200 rounds, and it ran everything I fed it, including steel cased Tula.

The manufacturer has had bad reviews in the3 past but this weapon, I have ordered three is just as good quality as a bushmaster or dpms. Most don't like the weapon because it dosent have a chromed lined barrel or bolt, not not a big issue unless you plan on dropping the gun in mud and not keeping it clean. Performs flawless so far after 400. No issues so far. Accurate but most ars are. Cant go wrong with this weapon.

Very Good M4 for the price of a Low End AK.
Review by Medved on 4/8/2014
Quality
I paid $549.99 for this package. $18.01 for shipping. $25.00 transfer fee. $593.00 total. For a decent, working and accurate M4, can't be beat. Took about 2.5 - 3 weeks to get here. Outstanding value for the money. For the price of a CIA WASR AK, you get a very good M4 and it is a deal that I would advise anyone to jump on, even at 619.99. And, yes, the machining and quality is better than the drunken monkey specials from Century. Prefer this rifle to a DPMS, Olympic, Windham or PTAC every day. Almost as good as a PSA or Core 15.

What I like about the carbine:
1). Lower is machined as well as any. Trigger is good.
2). Finish is decent for the money, locks up tight: good fit.
3). As accurate as any M4 on the market when you do your job and particularly likes 55 grain Federals.
4). No FTFs, No FTE 100 rounds and counting.
5). Tapco Gen.2 30s are GTG and as good as PMAGs. Drop Free, cycle well, tough, quality magazines.
6). Carry Handle is quality and tight. Sights Adjust well.
7). Not much light between my upper and lower, and they fit tight. As good as any Bushmaster, Smith and Wesson or Stag. Really like the Lower.
8). Likes all magazines: polymer and aluminum and steel. (As an aside - stay away from Thermold garbage and Sportman's Guide SWT Swiss junk! These mags are not worth your time or money.)
9). Lifetime warranty.

What I don't like:
1). Front Sight post is a casting.
2). 4 Position buttstock, not 6 position: and it is polymer, not aluminum.
3). Not Chrome lined barrel.
4). 1:9 and not 1:8 (best choice) or 1:7 twist.
5). Upper is decently machined, but still there are rough spots. I would grade machining at about B to B+ as opposed to A grade lower.
6). Bolt carrier is decently machined but not as smooth as higher end ARs.
7). Didn't come with a sling.
8). Minor cosmetics (which do not affect function) in the eveness of the anodizing on the upper: lower is excellent. Parkerizing is very good.

If it were priced at 699.00, I would give it 4 stars. But because it is 619.00 with the price increase, essentially the price of an AK, and comes with a lifetime warranty and is GTG out of the hard case without the issues of notorious cheap AKs, this carbine rates as a 5 star value overall. For those looking to buy a decent home defense carbine, this is a best buy. The lower is very good and would be a platform I would use for other, higher end uppers.

Didn't expect much for this price and was impressed with the fit and finish right off ! Tried it out on the range with reloads and was nailing a 18" target at 100 yards with the A2 sights . Good grouping right out of the box Tried it next with a firefeild scope but couldn't quite get it zeroed in, I think the recoil was messing up the electric scope. Went through 200 reloads with out a misfire. Very happy with purchase .

I'm impressed. The gun looks great inside and out. Shot about 50 rounds at about 200 yards. The gun is easy to be accurate with. Had one round fail to cycle...didn't like that. I really like the rear sight and I liked the plastic mags better than my steel and aluminum ones. Glad they included the hard case, kinda flimsy but better than a cardboard box.
The gun showed up faster than classic said and I like the no up charge for credit card.

Never really been into the AR game. Stuck with AK's over the years and decided to jump on this deal Classic had going for the Bear Creek Arsenal Ar-15. I had the Rifle sent to my Local FFL and on the day I went to pick it up several of my friends with AR's where there chewing the fat ans they all were flabbergasted seeing I Actually bought a AR... Next thing I know the rifle was completely taken down on the counter and scrutinized by all of them. No one had anything bad to say and they all were astounded by the price. I had no ammo for this rifle so a trip to the Local Wal-mart was in order. Unfortunately all they had was Steel cased Tula ammo in .223 over the course of a few days I was able to drum up about 200 rounds of steel case .223. Today was my first range session with it and after a few twist of the rear site knob I was able to get it dialed in. I ran 125 rounds through it with not one malfunction. Some of it was rapid fire but most from bench and a few from standing. The accuracy is spot on even for my Shaky old self. I was able to fire 40 rounds of brass cased 556 a friend brought along after he had trouble with his rifle. I am glad I picked this up and I will say if you want a AR and you have limited funds You really need to check this out. Classic looks like they are holding the price for a bit so get on it and get one before the price goes up.
Like it so far.

I was very pleased with the fit and finish of the rifle. It's very well-made in my opinion, and I'm ver happy with my purchase.

The only caveat I have is: use the 5.56x45 ammunition versus .223. Winchester 5.56mm cycled flawlessly through it, whereas FTF occurred frequently using .223 ammo.

Shipping and communications were top notch. Thanks you CF!

First off the communication from classic was great! kept me informed from time shipped to delivered. as for the rifle it seems well made the fit and finish is great. everything is very tight and clean all the line are crisp and sharp. it came with 2 tapco mags and they fit great no wabble. mags lock in as they should. carry handle is well made and fits great and adjust easily as well. I think for the money you will not be disappointed. I have a couple of other higher end Ar15's and this one is just as accurate as those. time will tell on over all longevity but as for now very nice rifle.. The case that is included is also nice fairly compact and easy to put behind a truck seat if needed .

AR-15 Rifle .223 / 5.56 NATO Caliber Semi Auto Target Ready Rifle W / M4 Barrel, and 2 - 30 Round Mags by Bear Creek Arsenal
Rifle features a Mounted Quick Detachable A-3 Carry Handle with Micrometer Adjustable A2 Sights so you can swap from open sights
to an in line scope ready flat top rifle in seconds... Once sighted in Carry Handle Rear Sight will Remove and Reattach without losing Zero.
Sights are finger tip adjustable for windage and elevation. This model also comes with an additional 30 round Mag and ships in a hard case.

Chambered for .223 Wylde which accommodates Std .223 Remington as well as 5.56 NATO rounds.
Beautiful Smooth Parkerized Finish. 1 in 9 twist rate on barrel is highly accurate with a variety of bullet weights.

    Review by Bill on 4/24/2015

It shot well with the iron sights.( keyholed a few).I can't wait, till I put a scope on it, and really see what it'll do ... Thanks, Bear Creek, and Classic fire arms. for a quality firearm at a reasonable price..

You said this was a great deal and you did not lie.
Fit and finish is first class.
Upper and lower halves of my rifle fit perfect with no gap or movement as in some models I saw on the internet.
Looks as good as it gets. No one would guess how much it cost.
I bought this from Classic because of my past good experience with purchases.
    Thank You Classic!

    First AR and impressed!

Have always wanted an AR and when I saw this it had everything that I had wanted in one. Had several people more knowledgeable than me check it out. They scrutinized it and tore it apart before giving it a thumbs up. Shot 223 and 556 through it at the range and it preformed like a champ. Absolutely no regrets over this purchase.

Thanks.

I just received my Bear Creek Arsenal AR-15 today and haven't taken to the range yet. But my first impressions are very good.
