1740 Sierra Bullets: The MatchKing Bullets are the ultimate target bullets offered by Sierra. The primary objective for designing each MatchKing bullet revolves around optimizing accuracy. These bullets possess exceedingly thin jackets tailored to a strict concentricity standard of 0.0003 in maximum deviation, and their weight remains consistent within -+0.3 grain. All MatchKing bullets feature a hollow point design coupled with a particularly small meplat, elevating their ballistic coefficient. The vast majority of these bullets also boast a boat tail shape that further reduces drag and enhances the ballistic coefficient. While some of these bullets have been utilized for hunting, Sierra specifically recommends them for target shooting purposes.
