The Spyderco BY01GPS2, also known as "The Original Harrier," holds a special place in byrd knife history as it was their first ever release. Now considered a collectible item due to its limited availability, the Harrier 2 revives and enhances this classic design, providing a practical everyday cutting tool. The size of the Harrier 2 neatly bridges the gap between the best-selling models the Cara Cara 2 and the Meadowlark 2.

Constructed from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade is finely ground to create the best edge geometry. It boasts of a textured index-finger choil and comes in both plain and partially serrated variants. As for the handle, it comes with textured G-10 scales and minimalist nested stainless steel liners, and a stainless steel backspacer. It also features a secure back lock mechanism and a versatile four-position clip for any carry preference.
