Speaker 1:
Hey everybody, Ben with Classic Firearms here. Today is Thursday June the 8th. You know, if there's one thing we have learned, it's that people like to see what they're buying, particularly when it comes to surplus. We sold some M39's yesterday that we had done a video on. There were some Sako's, frankly that were very similar to some M39's that we had been running in the ads for quite some time. They didn't have cracked stocks but most of our Sako's have very minor cracked stocks at a much lower price. They're trickling out, when we did a video presentation on this particular group of Sako's we sold out in less than 30 minutes. That tells us that people really like to see what they're going to be buying. Heres what we're going to try to do. I'm not certain that we're going to meet our goals, but from now until we run out of M39's, which we're very low on our project now, but we're going to try to give you a video presentation of 15, 20 guns each day, show you the good, show you the bad, show you the ugly, and let you decide if you want to buy out of that particular group. At least you'll have a video reference or a visual reference on those rifles. If you're not into that folks, just don't open the video okay, or don't click on it if you don't need an M39, if you've made up your mind that's not your cup of tea or you've got all that you need, then don't take your time with it just discard it or don't open it or whatever. For those of you who still have an interest, want to see what you're buying, you're going to have that opportunity so check back every day, probably at the bottom of our email block you're going to see some new and different M39's for sale every day. We're starting that today with a small group of no date, no maker. These are the unmarked M39's. When we were originally selling these guns in really good condition, we were selling them at $699.99. Now all the really good condition guns are gone. Everything we have left either has some degree of rust on it, or it has a cracked stock and some degree of rust on it. Today what we're going to do is show you some guns with some rust. We've divided them up into two different grades, minor rust and major rust. We've discounted them heavily, we think it's going to be well worth it. Dylan's running the camera, Dylan come on in and take a look. We have samples here on the table. I think we have about 20 guns total. I think there's 9 or 10 in each group. Here's 4 of the ones with minor rust. Now the no maker no date guns you can go to the ad to read more about the history of those, typically they were very nice. These are no exception, overall they are very nice guns. These all will have some rust on them somewhere. Let me show you an example. Dylan let's look at the magazine on this one. Can you see that through the camera lens? It's real- There we go. It's real light coating, real surface with some flaky rust. You can see what it was leaving on my thumb there, so it is coming off. We also have a little bit here on the rear sight aperture. For some reason, these rear sights seem very prone to gathering a little bit of that rust. But in this case, it's very minor, you're going to see some here on the bolt. Nothing here that I don't think a little bit of Naval Gel, a little bit of steel wool wouldn't take off, and then all of that I think you'd be good to go. Anyway, those are the ones with minor rust folks. If you want a great rifle at a good price that you do just a little cleanup on. Now these are as is, we're telling you there's rust on them so don't buy them and then call back and say, "Hey that gun had rust." We're telling you it's got rust, but the price point makes it well worth it, $419.99. No maker no date with minor rust. Now we'll come to the ones with major rust. These have been exposed to a little bit more moisture somewhere, Dylan come on back in. Let's take a look at a worst case scenario. Beautiful stock, really nice overall rifle. I've opened them, the bores have been okay in these. There's no evidence of rust anywhere on the inside, but you're going to see rust here on the bolt head. You're going to see more rust, there's a lot of it here, on the side of the rear sight, and up the rear sight and of course some on the magazine itself. Lets take another example, you should've laid these the opposite way on the table. I see some rust on the trigger, see some heavier rust, again some of that will rub off, see it on my fingers. See it here on the rear sight, but some of that is actually down into the metal a little bit so we're calling it major rust. Certainly it has not affected the security of the rifle. There's nothing here that would inhibit you from firing the rifle, but they do have a lot of rust on them. There's still one more, I don't want no surprises. This one's got a lot of heavy rust right here at the bolt. Now the bolt's still smooth, operates, functions, falls, but is the camera picking that up okay Dylan? I think so. A lot of heavy major rust there. A no maker, no date beautiful stock. A little bit of elbow grease will bring this one back 100% but it is going to require a little elbow grease to do it. Sights out great. Anyway like I said, originally we were selling these at $699, because of the amount of rust on these right now folks, $379.99. Some minor rust at $419, major rust at $379. You can find them under the no maker no date M39's codes. They are available right now when you go to the ad, they can be ordered today. Folks we appreciate your business. Thank you for being with us here at www.classicfirearms.com.
