Brutus' Description

About This Rifle

This particular group of rifles feature the original wood furniture sets that have been finished in a solid color stain. The stain is a plum color over the wood and offers a very high degree of protection. Buttstock and forearms on these are very well matched but due to the stain being solid you cannot see any of the original wood grain or color in the stock. Evidently the Bulgarian Arsenal used different batches of stains when finishing the wood furniture on these rifles and these are stained with a solid color finish.

Quite honestly I like the look of these rifles. It is a Military Grade finish and is unique at the same time...
One of the benfits to this finish is that you have a matching buttstock and forearm/handguard...
It is also much more rare, or at least so it seems based on the quantities we are receiving with this finish.

We are offering these rifles at the same price but under a seperate product SKU so you can choose which finish you desire. Other than the finish on the furniture, these rifles are exactly the same.

Now, More details about the rifle

I really like these.  In my humble opinion these rifles are some of the nicest AK-74's to come down the pipe in a long time

and more than that they are done right.

The combination of high quality, all matching,  Bulgarian made surplus rifle parts sets,
and brand new U.S. parts including barrel and receiver combined with top grade professional assembly makes for a fantastic rifle.

Each of the rifles begins as a grade 1 all stamped matching Bulgarian AK-74 parts set.

Parts are then professionally assembled by Waffen Werks.   Waffen Werks is one of the premiere builders in the U.S. and their quality is very top level.
U.S. Parts include new U.S. made chrome lined barrel,  new Waffen Werks premium grade receiver, 3 piece G-2 No Slap Trigger set by Tapco, and U.S. made pistol grip.

Rifle also features the highly effective and original Bulgarian AK-74 compensator.  These things are too cool.

Rifles all feature an integrated side rail for scope mounts or other accessories.

All metal parts on the rifles are in like new in condition and are all professionally finished with the Famous KG Gun Kote Finish. This is the slickest thing going and we are proud to be able to offer it on these rifles.

Assembly is done to the highest of professional standards, ie, no hammers and anvils here.
All metal surfaces are smooth and clean, all rivets are machine seated and overall finish is to original factory standards.

All rifles are test fired and re-cleaned before being boxed to ship.

As an introductory offer each rifle will ship with a free shooters package consisting of a Bulldog Brand tactical carry case and 3 Additional 30 round mags.... That is close to a $100.00 value at retail.
Note - Color of Bulldog case may vary, either O.D. Green or Black, depending on available stock. Also Mag color may vary depending on availability.

Also - For a limited time we are shipping a Free UTG Side Rail Scope Mount with each of these rifles.

A word about barrels.   AK-74's have gotten a bad wrap on some forums due to some manufacturers using barrels that were not bored properly which led to rifles being inaccurate or bullets that would keyhole downrange.  That is not the case here -

In the past we have used a barrel by ESS that was really nice by industry standards. Their standard barrel was, and is, an extremely nice barrel....
However, you spoke and we listened, knowing that our customers demand the best, and using your feedback as well as advice from shooters across the country,  we have asked the manufacturer to make some upgrades to the standard barrels to maximize both the barrel life and the accuracy of the rifle...
These upgrades were expensive, but in the end we feel that the expense was well worth it.

These rifles are now outfitted with a 1 in 8  twist , 4 groove barrel, that is rated at 4142 pre-heat treated hardness. They are fully Chrome Lined for extended barrel life, and are holding tight groups at extended distances... This was a proprietary project for Classic Firearms and we are very proud of the barrels in these rifles. These are the Cadillac of barrels.

We have tested these rifle extensively and they have fired accurately with all bullet weights and brands.

The rifle bores on these rifles are a true 5.45 diameter and again, we have been very impressed with the accuracy...

But hey, don't take my word for it... Get one and see for yourself.

Note: The furniture on these rifles is original and may show an occasional small dent, scratch or ding.
Still very nice though. The photo's you see on the site are a good representation...

Note # 2 -  Tapco mags may vary in color, either black, or burned orange, our choice, depending on availability.

Outstanding rifle, highly recommend, sweet shooter
Review by Tom Adkins on 11/4/13
Quality
I highly recommend this rifle. When I purchase d it, I went with the 699.00 package and at the same time bought the ultimate package along with it, and added a tin of ammo. Huge purchase, but WELL worth it. I decided after checking it out to strip the finish, yes, it was graded A, and very much is so, but I wanted the wooden stock look. I think it turned out pretty good. Once again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

AK 74 Solid Satin
Review by Tommy on 7/4/14
Quality
I love my Waffen Werks AK 74! Honestly, I did not like the solid satin finish when it arrived so I refinished the wood furniture to my liking. After refinishing the rifle in a sort of "Russian Red" I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The rifle shoots straight and was already zeroed from the factory. I have put around 300 rounds through this AK so far using the 7n6 ammo and haven't experienced any malfunctions. The AK has a great finish and very smooth action; it is most definitely better rifle compared to the Century Arms WASR 10s. The only con that I can think of is that the butt-stock is a little short for my liking (6 footer), so I added an UTG Model 47 Combat Butt Pad (for length, not recoil) and its perfect. I will be purchasing more firearms from this company in the future because I experience great, and timely customer service.
Great AK-74 Gun Package!
Review by Coffeeman on 5/19/14
Quality
The Shooters package is a great deal. I have had no issues with any of the Tapco mags or the scope mount ( I have mounted a Vortex StrikeFire to the scope mount and it has held zero ) The gun itself is well made and the finish is holding up very well after 500 plus rounds. This is my 3rd purchase form Classic Firearms and they are great folks to deal with! (I am a repeat customer for sure) Note: Be sure and order some of the Stripper Clips and the Guide Loader. Makes for quick work on loading all those mags you get with the gun!
Thanks! To all the staff @ ClassicFirearms.com
Great rifle after it was fixed.
Review by Minuteman on 4/8/14

This is a continuation of the review I made a while back. I bought this rifle back in September of 2013 and when I first got it out to the range round after round would fail to eject and so I sent it back to Waffen Werks. They sent it back to me in about 3 weeks and I have taken it out twice since and it appears that the problem is gone. When I sent my rifle back, the bluing was a weird grey color. When I received it back, I noticed there was a whole new receiver on it and the bluing was black and way better looking. I have no idea what they did to it but it does work 100% better now. I bought a bunch of Bulgarian surplus magazines for it and refinished the stock. If you look through the customer photos, my rifle is the one leaned up against a tree in the woods caked with snow. The stock when I first got it was a poop brown color. Not what I expected at all, but hey, I refinished it and now it looks 200 times better. The parts kit my rifle was built from is a 1989 production which I found out is a limited production year which is pretty cool that I got something a little unique. Every part on this gun matches 100%. From dust cover to gas port. Of course the G2 trigger system is nice and crisp. These are pretty good rifles fit and finish wise.. I mean compared to my WASR 10/63, it is about the same quality. I can shake my WASR and nothing rattles. When I shake this rifle the bolt carrier group jiggles a slight but it's no big deal. I have gotten a bunch of compliments at the range with how beautiful this rifle is. I haven't ran anything through it besides commercial ammo thus far because I just get tired of hosing my rifles down after corrosive ammo. It's eaten everything I've given it so no complaints there. Great rifle overall. If you are iffy on buying one maybe because of the whole import ban on 7N6 ammo, don't let that stop a nice rifle from getting out there. They are truly great guns and a ball to shoot. Cheers.
Great rifle at a great deal!
Review by Chris on 4/4/14
Quality
I was kind of hesitant about the solid stain described on the furniture of these rifles, but figured I could refinish it if I didn't like it. It looks much better in person than in pictures! Yes, there were a few scratches, but a medium-dark furniture touch-up pen and a thick layer of Pledge polish is all it needed to look great! The rest of the rifle is absolutely beautiful and is exactly as described. The thing I'm most blown-away by is the very friendly and excellent customer service and fast shipping! Thanks, ClassicFireArms!

GREAT rifle,GREAT deal
Review by Fred on 3/18/14

I ordered this package about two weeks ago. It took Classic about a week to ship it, but that's understandable given how busy they have been. Well all I can say is, it was well worth the wait. I got the orange mags I requested, the solid stain furniture has a few nicks in it but more than acceptable, and the finish on the rifle is beautiful, inside and out. Everything from the action to the gas tube release operates very smoothly. I took it to the range today for the first time, put 150 rounds of 70's Russian surplus down range, and the rifle performed flawlessly, shot after shot. After sighting in the iron sites, which were pretty close to begin with, I shot a 1.5 in. 15 round group, and a .5 in. 5 round group. Both at 25 yards. Don't believe me?? I'll send you the picture. Can't wait to put a scope on this tack driver. All I can say is, I'm SOOO glad I ordered it, and I thank Classic for offering such a great rifle and package for such a great price.
Excellent rifle, mostly
Review by Jeremy on 3/10/14
Quality
Excellent rifle. Functioned well, no jams of any kind.

Only a few concerns:
-Whomever attached the front sight to the barrel had to have messed up. I ended up zeroing the weapon and the post is almost kissing the side of the front sight.
-The stock was not probably matched in size to the rifle and is a bit wobbly.

I plan on replacing the stock with a custom job and I did finally get the gun sighted in so it's not that big of an issue.

Speaking of accuracy, damn! At 50 yards I managed to put 90 shots within a 2.5 inch radius of center. Of those, 58 were in a 1 inch grouping.

Completely shattered my mind as I thought the AK was supposed to have the accuracy of a blunderbuss, if the AR crowd was right.

Looking forward to customizing this gun!

I have never purchased a gun online, but decided to pull the trigger on this deal. It took two weeks for it to arrive at my FFL. (The winter storm that hit North Carolina caused the delays.) When I first opened the package, I tried to look over anything and everything that would be a deal breaker. I couldn't find anything!!! I ordered the orange bakelite kit to go with it. (4 mags, bayo, case, cleaning kit, stripper clips...) All of the mage were orange. I had heard there was an off chance that they wouldn't match. So there are 4 TapCo mags and 4 bulgarian mags made at circle 21. The bulldog gun case was top quality.

I took my new purchase over to a buddy for him to take a look at. He was impressed with the build and the quality of the package that he decided that he was going to get one too. The only issue that I found is the scope rail wasn't included with the kit. I called Classic and talked to Amber and she said that they would get it dropped in the mail to me.

I haven't had a chance to go shoot this, but I can't wait. I already have ammo on order. The transaction was very quick and easy. Classic was good to work with. The quality was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Classis again!!!

Great service and speedy delivery thanks to the folks at classic. I ordered it on a Monday and picked it up at my local ffl on a Thursday. Took it to the range and loaded it up. This gun shot great. no misfires or failures of any kind right out of the box. Ammo is cheap, shoots accurate and feels great. Definately worth the price, and I am thinking about picking up a few more. The only issue I had was a pretty tweaked front iron sight, but that is nothing new with aks and is a easy fix or replacement.

Review by sean on 12/27/13

I was nervous about ordering the WW AK74 after I had done some research about earlier AK74 issues, but I must say that this rifle is way beyond my best expectations.

When I picked up my rifle at my local FFL I very carefully looked it over and it was the best looking and best built AK in the building. It put all the AKs on the shelf to shame!! There was not one speck of rust ANYWHERE on the rifle. The metal looked gorgeous with a perfect coating of the KG Gunkote on it. The rifle functions so smooth and flawlessly its like I'm dreaming. You have issues if you pass up this AK74! Big issues!
Great Buy!
Review by Doyle on 12/1/13
Quality
Inspecting everything at my FFL/Transfer, I found that I was sent the Barska 3X9 scope instead of the UTG side-mount rail. I'm not complaining, I'm happy. As for the rifle, I was anxious after reading a few reviews about cartridge casings sticking in the chambers. But, after 60 rounds fired as a test fire, I've had no problems at all. I'm not a fan of AK's to begin with but, with the price of ammo of other calibers, I decided to buy a new plinker that can accurately reach 300 meters and more. Love it so far!

Great AK-74

Its everything you could ever want in an AK-74. Waffen Werks does amazing work and Classic Firearms has always had great service. The only thing lacking is the wood finish on the stock, it's more of a paint than a finish and it rubs right off in your hands not a deal breaker though because the quality of the actual gun is great.
Excellent Rifle and Value
Review by Nehuskr on 11/15/13

Ordered this rifle based on a recommendation from a friend. WOW! what a great value, excellent shooting and quality. Been to the range several times and with friends and all have said it the best shooting AK rifle they have shot. This is a WINNER of a gun and great value.
Mind. Blown.
Review by XD9SC on 10/31/13
Quality
I am super pleased with my experience with Classic Firearms and these Waffen Werks AK's are simply terrific. I've got a few hundred rounds through mine now and it has been flawless. The shooter's package is a good value. That said, I would probably pass on purchasing another package. The carry bag is of good quality, but the UTG accessory rail and Tapco magazines are nothing to get excited about. The Tapco mags are good for range use, but IMO I doubt they'd last through a tactical carbine class or similar scenario.

The AK itself is a terrific product. I'm not especially familiar with the AK platform, however, from extensive reading and video reviews, the Waffen Werks is approximately equal to the Arsenal or Saiga lineup. The finish is nice. I'm not a big fan of the stained woodstock, simply because in hot weather it will bleed out on your hands, cheek, etc. One other minor con is the sharp, unfinished edges found on the AK. During some fast-paced shooting, I cut a knuckle pretty deep. To this day, I can't figure out exactly how I did it. Coming from an AR background, this was a new experience (but nothing to boo hoo about).

I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and will not hesitate to work with Classic Firearms/ Waffen Werks again.

I purchased this package and I am extremely impressed. The rifle I received looks just like the one in the picture. I got the black magazines and black bulldog bag. The rail mount fits snug, what a great addition to this package. Now it's time to get to the range and run this thing!!! Thank you so much Classic Firearms! Also I'd like to mention that Classic Firearms had great customer service. They answered emails and phone calls same day with a courteous, informative response! You all were great, God Bless!
Nicest AK74 available in the US
Review by Kevin R on 10/17/13
Quality
I already knew that the Bulgarian AK74s are the best out there to start with but Waffen Werks completing it to be 922r compliant was up to the same standards. This is the best looking AK74, I ve ever seen and functions great. Believe it or not but this is the best wood furniture I ve seen on an AK74 that wasnt brand new, the price is amazing because this in terms of quality and function are just as or even better than Arsenal AK74s which btw are now being produced in Bulgaria NOT Russia. Btw, Russian AKs never were the best ones just because they were the orgin country, Bulgarian AK47s an AK74s are the best licensed AKs money can buy. Why do people automatically assume Russian AKs are the creme de la creme of AKs? I ve been out of the country so I ve seen real AKs and let me tell you Russian AKs are known for reliability but that just means it will fire a bullet. The Bulgarians did to AKs what the Japanese do to American technology. I am still in awe, this is the most beautiful AK74 I ve seen in the US, there is no possible way it could be made any better. Thanks Waffen Werks and Classic Firearms, despite the small glitch I had with ordering originally, everything has been great. I specifically got this because the price of the extra magazines, the scope, and the carry bag were a better buy even though I intend on eventually changing out the furniture, I am actually debating seeing as how nice it is about maybe keeping the fore grips as is but I was planning on having a sidefolding buttstock but with the actual buttstock being solid, not a skeleton or the ar-15 magpul type.
Pretty nice!
Review by Big Bang Bong on 10/13/13

Really nice package. Tapco mags work great, my ak-47 Lula Loader loads the 74 round perfect. This gun has great fit and finish. EXCEPT the solid stain. it rubs off very easily. I plan in the long term to remove the finish and restain. the solid stain acts more like paint, and it does come off easily. I think that is why these are such a great price. other than that, it works great, would purchase again.
Great Firearm for the price
Review by Emilio on 10/8/13
Quality
I have had this rifle for a little over 2 months and I have greatly enjoyed it. Received the rifle with the bulldog carrying case, 4 tapco burnt orange mags, and the scope mount.
In terms of the mags, I have absolutely no trouble with them at all.

Upon receiving the firearm, I noticed that upon pulling the bolt back, it would get caught on something inside. After inspection, I realized the front portion of the bolt carrier gets caught on the trigger. I figured it would break in and smooth out the action after it rounds off some of the edge.

Either I'm used to seeing the gas tube on my Norinco AK 47 and my SKS being absolutely spotless with no excess powder within, or maybe 74's are different, but it looks like burned powder is built up inside the tube that was never cleaned out and just built up over time. It doesn't hinder the piston movement at all, but figured I'd mention it.

I took it out to the range a week after I purchased it and had absolutely no failures at all. Fired about 210 rounds of surplus corrosive ammunition and each pull of the trigger was followed by a bang. Tested it with a scope I had lying around and found it making about a 6" group at 50 yds. Removed the scope as it was just a spare one I had lying around and found the irons weren't quite on as it was hitting to the right. I forgot to bring my sight tool that day and weather started to act up, so ended it there.

Action still hangs up on the trigger, so I took a bit of 600 grit sandpaper and smoothed out under the bolt carrier and on top of the trigger. Action was definitely smoothed out with just a minor hiccup as the bolt moves forward again. That'll be left alone to break in on its own.

Took rifle out a month later, this time with irons laser sighted and took it to the 50 yd line. Accuracy of the barrel still can't be determined as shots ended up all around the target even with the gun in a supported position. I have experience with leaf sights, primarily with experience behind my SKS, but I'll determine if the inaccuracy is either from me or the barrel once I can throw a great optic on it and test it out once more. I've read that many people find the barrel to be spot on with video reviews to show it, but I haven't had such experience with it. I'll update later on with my findings.

During this same range visit, I didn't notice when it happened, but part of the wood from the butt stock actually broke off. The piece that broke off is just to the left (with the muzzle being the front) of the screw to the rear of the trunnion. It wasn't a large piece that broke off, nor a piece that would cause danger with further shooting, but it was quite a surprise to see the stock break from the recoil of the firearm, or lack thereof. I was planning on changing the furniture in the future anyway, but was definitely not expecting the stock to break at all. It didn't break from being mishandled either. I follow the same philosophy many others do: respect your rifle and they'll respect you.

To note, I fired 150 rounds that visit and just like last time, absolutely no failures at all.

Overall, I give the firearm a 4/5 as it appears to be well-made. For the price, you definitely can't go wrong. My experience with it so far has been great minus the couple of hiccups I've run into, but once I get those settled, this'll definitely be my go to rifle. I appreciate you taking the time to reading the review. I'll update later on if I get the minor issues resolved.

Excellent AK 74

I finally made it to the range today to shoot my Waffen Werks AK74 purchased a month or so ago. I also took my Arsenal AK 74. I am pleased to say that my Waffen Werks AK 74 performed just as well as the Arsenal Saiga AK 74. It was accurate and functioned well with Tapco and surplus mags that I purchase from your company. As for ammo I was shooting the cheap steel casing stuff. Thank you for an excellent product. Regards, Blkwulf

if I could review the service I received from classic firearms it would be a 5 out of 5 stars, the gun as delivered is a different story.

upon receiving the gun I immediately took it to the range where I fired 400 rounds of wolf and Russian surplus. I experienced many failure to extracts where a spent case would get stuck in the chamber requiring a smart slap of the charging handle to remove the spent case from the chamber. luckily I work at an indoor range with a gunsmith on staff, he applied a set of "go" and "no go" headspace gauges where he found the bolt would not fully close on the "go" gauge indicating the chamber was too tight.

I contacted mark at waffen werks who promptly responded to my email. i was sent a ups shipping label to return the gun under warranty for fixing.

so far waffen werks' customer service has been expeditious and professional, my gun was at the UPS center within a single day after sending my first email. the overall fit and finish of the gun was excellent and was pretty much zeroed right out of box. ill write an updated review of this rifle after I receive it back from warranty services.

Failure to extract.
Review by Son of Liberty on 9/5/13

Just bought this rifle about a month ago, received it from my FFL last thursday. Got out the range today (Wednesday) and I got about 150 rounds of 69 grain wolf ammo because I really didn't feel like cleaning up after the corrosive salts and frankly it's more reliable. I got through 2 and a half mags of this stuff (one tapco, 2 bulgy surplus) and boom failure to extract. The spent case was stuck in the chamber until I got home and jammed it out with a rod. I tried at home to manually feed and extract the rounds and again and again failure to extract. I am assuming this is a problem with the bore. While I was at the range I called Mark at Waffen Werks and he was very kind on trying to help me resolve this issue. We talked for about 10 minutes going over what it could be. He asked me what ammo I was using and he was bewildered because that's what kind of ammo they use to test fire the weapons when they leave Waffen Werks. He didn't hesitate to send me a UPS label to have it sent back and fix the rifle free of charge. This review is based on my experience with this rifle thus far. Everyone is human, gun places make mistakes as well as all of you reading this review. I guess I just got that bad apple. My gun will be sent back tomorrow and hopefully I will have it back soon. If I could give Waffen Werks a star rating on how they handled this situation, it would be a 5. Thank you for reading.

Hi Mark - We do apologize you had an issue with your rifle. We are very glad (and not surprised) to hear Waffen Werks immediately sent you a label to take care of the issue. Waffen Werks has outstanding customer service and will always stand behind their builds. Let us know how the rifle performs when you get it back or if there is anything we need to assist with in the future. Thank you for being a customer of Classic Firearms - you are truly valued here. God bless....

Got the gun today, checked it out. Gun looked great, with a deep color stain on the stock and the handguard. The Stock had slight nicks, very tiny, from the magazines being lose in the box. Other than that, trigger was crisp, smooth, no creep. Would definitely recommend to anyone to buy.

AK Solid Stain
Review by Colin on 8/25/13

2nd Waffen Werks for me. I really like the solid stain (not as much as the Plum but close) because fore and aft colors match. Couple of bad divits on stock which I can at least get close to matching but which I was not expecting as I've had extremely good results from Classic. But at this price I can't really complain.
Cleaning rod is rusty.
-NOTE to Classic- I've got some fine scratches on the receiver. I'm attributing these to the magazines being put loose and unwrapped into the carrying case. The Plum AK came with the mags int the slots outside the case and has no issues. Aslo someone was in a hurry and after chucking the mags into the case screwed up the zipper so that unless I can get the zipper lined up, I'll have to pitch the case cause I can't zip it. I fight zippers on a Jeep soft top and on a sailboat so I may get it to work but not yet.

SOLID BUILT RIFLE. EVERYTHING WAS TIGHT. FINISH WAS OUTSTANDING. AFTER A FEW MODS OF AN M-4 STYLE STOCK, FRONT PICATINNY RAIL AND A SIDE MOUNT SCOPE IT IS A SHOOTERS DREAM. ROUNDS ARE READILY AVAILABLE AT ABOUT .20 EACH. WHEN SIGHTING THIS ONE IN IT HAS A HIGHER THAN EXPECTED GROUPING FROM THE BORESIGHT. THE OLD 25 AT 100 RULE DOES NOT WORK FOR THIS ONE. WOULD RECOMMEND A MIL DOT SCOPE FOR RANGING. ONCE YOU FIGURE THE TRAJECTORY OUT YOU WILL HAVE A HOOT SHOOTING THIS ONE.

Review by Constitution? on 8/2/13

Okay I am going to do a pre-review for first impressions on seeing my new Waffen Werks Ak-74 and then once I get the rifle, I will do a solid review and a summary of how I feel overall. I recently had to do some selling in order to purchase this rifle because for $700 for 4 mags, rail mount, and bulldog rifle case, and lets not forget a very top quality rifle.. you just can't beat it. So I went to go and sign for my rifle at my FFL today and to check her out, I was surprised to find that the stock is more of a dark brown unattractive color than a red as it seems in the picture. Now I know Classic can't portray everything to exact specifications because they are all different in some way. and I am not holding that against them. Personally, when I receive the rifle after my wait time, I am either going to change out the stock or refinish it (which I love doing) because the brown is such an awful color for it. I took the rifle apart and inspected it pretty thoroughly and these rifles come very, very clean inside and out. No cosmoline, no junk, no nothing. I checked out the sights, everything seems to be in check. The dust cover came off and on perfectly fine, and the safety lever worked completely fine. I have seen a couple of videos where people complain their rifle is a bit stiff and a little tight with the lever and the cover. Anyway, I received a set of 4 "burned orange" tapco mags which I was hoping for the black but no big deal. They're mags. I was surprised to find that the mags are a tad darker color than the image as well and they look a tad better. Still ugly, but they'll work and I will get around to getting some black ones. A lot of people try to rag on tapco magazines for some reason I can't figure out why. I have several for my Wasr-10 and they work flawlessly. I also received a black bulldog case which I was hoping for so that made me a bit happy. Bulldog cases are very good quality cases and extremely rugged and let's not forget the rail mount.. Now the rail mount when I first read the ad I thought for some odd reason it was going to be a quick release rail mount but it is indeed the one with the 3 screws. Just something to note. I have a quick release for my Wasr-10 and it works wonderfully. Overall, first impressions, great looking gun with a KG Gun Kote finish, from what I noted, all matching numbers, and very clean and I can't wait to shoot it. Thanks for reading. Cheers.

This rifle was purchased to eliminate feral hogs from a ranch that has been over run by them.
This ranch is in California, so consequently 10 round mags were used.
In 7 seconds the 1st 10 round mag dropped 5.
My two friends had AR rifles, one dropped 2 the other dropped 3.
Not bad for clearing 30+ pigs from the private lake @ about 100 yrds. from the house
Oh.. and, I win!
The only neg. (if you want to call it that) is that the 5.45 x 39 destroyed basketball sized pork on the hog. So if you want to save more meat, get head shots.
We were not looking to fill freezers as much as eliminating destructive pigs.

The bag, 3 extra mags and the ( CA. ) service Classic extended me was very much appreciated.
This is the best deal around and a real fun gun.
After I fine tune it to my needs with the necessary accessories, I will post a picture of this fine beauty.
Waffen, keep it clean & special THANKS! to Classic.

Cheers.

I refinished the furniture but the rifle looks great. After i have a chance to fire it i will post a more detailed review. Thanks again to Classic for the fast friendly service.

Big issues!

    AK Solid Stain

Waffen, keep it clean & special THANKS! to Classic.
