ithis was my first C&R purchase.....i took it apart..cleaned it up(the russkies heavily soaked them in cosmoline to keep them rust free) put it back....didnt like the wood...ordered the tapco parts....put it back together...then went on from there...its accurate...deadly and heavy...but damn i like it:)

Remove the brake!

Love it but moved out of California to Pennsylvania. Is it possible to remove the brake and replace with an original launcher (parts bought from a surplus dealer)? CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

i got it caked in cosmoline, though once i cleaned it up i was surprised to see that all the parts including rifling in the barrel were in what i would say unissued or barely used conditioned. the only issue i had with mine was that there is a crack in the grain of the stock where the butt and the trigger meet, but not too bad. it shipped right away. had no problems over all its a really good deal
