Having recently acquired a bump-stock for my ar I needed to feed it properly and in cones this bad boy for only $99! I haven’t shot it yet but quality seems solid, loading it was pretty easy for a first timer. Overall very satisfied with value and quality!

I purchased this so I could spend less time reloading mags and more time shooting during my time at the range. It works great so far. I've only fired 100 rounds out of it, but it hasn't jammed or failed to chamber a round a single time yet. I like that it comes with the loader device which lets you load 5 rounds at a time, it makes loading it much faster. Obviously it does add some weight, but not so much as I was expecting from such a big magazine. It seems to be sturdy and well-built. I like that the back is clear plastic, so you can see how many rounds you have left. The only negative I can find with it is the fact that it won't lock into my rifle unless I have the bolt held back, and the bolt won't stay open once it's empty, like with a standard mag. I'm not sure if this is the case when using it with other AR-15/M16 platforms as well, or just with my particular rifle, which is an Eagle-15 from Eagle Arms. This is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars, but an extra step taken in loading is small price to pay for 100-round capacity in a decidedly sturdy yet lightweight magazine.

loaded it up to the max for the first time and it never failed to feed. It hasn't failed me yet, just keep it lubed and you're good to go. only problem that i have is the ranges around me don't allow rapid fire so keep that in mind if you don't have land or a good range to take it to as it does get heavy after a while.

It broke before I even got to shoot it, but I was able to fix it.

I was happy to get my hands on this, but the first time I loaded it with the included loader I got about 80 rounds into it, and a feed lip broke off. I pulled the loader off to see what had happened and all 80 rounds shot out like a geyser. I was going to look into returning it, but I just ended up ordering a feed tower for a Beta C-mag which fit perfectly and functions fine. The feed lips seem to be the weak spot on these so I'm going to order a couple of more towers to have as spares. I have also found using a LULA loader works well for loading, and I think it's easier on the feed lips though a flat screwdriver is needed to detach the loader since the drum blocks the unlocking tab from finger access. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm running it on a dpms oracle, have to lock back the bolt first though or else it won't go in. Was using IMI 5.56 FMJ was very fun and reliable

I purchased before election for friend. I never gave it to him. I shot tulammo out of it no problem. pCM, no problems. Half load of Winchester no problems. It is nice balance of weight. Feeds from both sides one after another. I like better than Pro mag one. This Korean made keeps load higher on rifle. It is just easier to move around. I'm no military person but my friends are , two purchased one after testing mine. The loading device is easy to use 5 at a time takes long time to load it has an interesting design at top wear it feeds to rifle. Looks like phony bullets at top. Whatever it is for it works. We tried to jam it by loading different makes of ammo mixed up. Shot all no problems. Rifle used was a Radical firearms 556 purchased here from classical. Friend used a Smith Wesson sport, and elite with heavy modification. And last one was a self built pistol AR. Note. Pistol AR did have failure to eject issue but also had with regular magazine as well. Because wrong spring being installed I believe it was pistol not drum. Because no issues with any rifle and pistol has same issues with hexmag and Surplus magazine.
Comes with nice pouch and small lubricant and 5 round loading device. Will purchase for Ruger mini 14 when able.

mag and bolt hold open

i like the mag don't get me wrong. how ever there is an issue with it. on the back of the mag there is a V shape at the top. when i fired my first full mag is was great. then i loaded a standard 30 round mag and shot it and the bolt was held open after the last round when i put another 30 r mag in and tried to use the bolt hold open release it was very hard to do. i took the rifle apart and found the top of the bolt hold open lever was marred up i had to file it down to take the burs off of it. so i put the empty 100 r mag in and seen that it was holding the bolt catch up just a little so i took it out and compared it to a 30 r mag and seen the larger opening on the standard mag compared to the 100 r mag. so i cut the back of the 100 r mag to look like the standard mag and had no issues

First, a quick shoutout to Matt for some outstanding customer service. He got this shipped to me in time to for the first range day that we have been able to have together in a couple of years.

The 100 round drum mag is fantastic. Opened the box, quickly loaded 100 rounds with the supplied loader. The loader allows you to load 5 rounds at a time and can also be used to load standard mags. I used it to load several 30 round P-Mags. The included carrying case is a nice touch, as is the dust cover to protect the lips of the magazine.

At the range, it was flawless. It snapped right into my PSA lower without any messing around. I shouldn't have been surprised at how much this changes the balance of the rifle, as the weight is substantial, but I was. I literally blew through the entire mag of Wolf steel case in less than a minute. The only issues I experienced were a couple of folks on the firing line who were a but perturbed with the rapid fire, but they quickly admitted that it was kind of cool.

I heartily give 5 stars for this product and two enthusiastic thumbs up to Classic Firearms. This was my first experience with them, but it will not be the last. Thanks again, Matt!

I rated this 100 rd drum a 5 star because it is durable and no jam. I took it to the range and ran about 300 rds and have no jams. I took the first shot and drum fell out of the magazine holder. Drop right on the floor about 48 inch from the ground. My mistake by not checking if it's completely secure. Pick the drum back up and started shooting like a champ even after it drop. Fast shipping also.

I bought mine a few weeks back and I love it. Had to use the graphite lube a couple times to get it performing perfect but out of the box I only had 3 malfunctions. It was caused by the followers getting stuck towards the last 5-10 rounds. After I lubed it it runs flawless.

I received this last week and got to use it for the first time yesterday. It was super easy to load with the 5 round speed loader that's included. It functioned perfectly and was a ton of fun at the range. Great product and I'm glad I found it on Classicfirearms.com. Purchased this for fun and fun it was. The first load however only accepted 98 rds though it fired without a single flaw using Wolf steel.

While prepping to load the second time I noticed the plastic around the top (where the bullets are stripped off into the gun, chipped off. Again, it only took 98 rounds. This time however it failed to strip a round and load a dozen times until about half of the ammo was gone. Once the spring tension decreased, it seemed to load fine. The spring tension is very high new out of the box.
I am going to exchange this for another one and see if perhaps I just got a defective unit. Hope to update this rating to a 5 with the new drum.

This is a surprisingly well made drum, for $100! I have put probably 300 rounds through it, with no problems at all. The only complaint I have with it, and it's a minor one, is that I had to remove my mag well grip off to insert the drum. Overall a very good deal!

No jams buy while you can great quality.
Its a little tight when i first put it in the gun but after......ah i don't know 50 times of putting it into the receiver it fits just fine. It doesn't need any sanding down just put in and out a bunch and it will fit just fine. BUT if it is full the springs are wound to tight for the bolt carrier to push the bullets down so you'll have to pop the pin and fold the gun in half to get it in. And it is easy to disassemble and to reassemble. Fire all 100 rounds with out any jams. This is the cheapest price i could find one.

With the government off it's rocker as always and the panic at a virtual end I finally ordered myself one of these. I'm giving it four stars based on cosmetics and build quality but can't give it five yet because I haven't done a drum dump.

You get: drum. Instruction booklet. Carry case. Drum lube, ROK mil spec. And a speed loader that looks like it'll do regular mags too.

No unscrewing and winding like Ak drum mags. Just load it like a pmag. Manual says it can be stored loaded but that's up to you.

I pieced a Ar 15 M4 together that I purchased from Classic Firearms. I bought the complete MM lower matched with the MM upper, ordered this 100 round drum mag just because.
Haven't had a chance to run the complete assembly yet but it all fits tight and looks great, Price for all was very reasonable.

Ran a mag dump with one stovepipe with wolf steel ammo. Fairly easy to load with the loader and thats great because even with the loader you will be loading for a while.

Ordered this and received it quickly; only took a few days. Weather has kept me from actually using it, but the drum feels well built. Apparently it's supposed to come with an instruction manual? Mine didn't, but if you don't know how to load a magazine, you shouldn't be buying this. =P

Ran a full mag through without any FTF issues or jams. Wouldn't want to lug this full mag around in my M&P 15 all day as it will add a considerable amount of weight to your rifle. These "Korean clones" get a bad rap for unreliability all over the net but so far, its functioned flawlessly. Just in case, Im gonna make sure I always keep the graphite lube close by.

It misfeeds every now and again but i think that's because its new, i am sure after a couple hounded rounds it should be much better. the prise is fair cant find a better deal any where i looked places wants like $300 for it. So i think its a must buy for a drum mag if u own a AR but keep in mind if u want to keep it for a rainy day you must break it in.

Received my drum magazine today. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones as well, the magazine I received has the clear back cover. Now my only question is do I use it, or do I store it for a later date? With the current political nonsense its hard to say.

Only reason I bumped it from 5 to 4 stars because mine did not include the graphite lube. But that is not really an issue. Thanks Classic Firearms! You guys are awesome yet again.

I am amazed these are back in stock and was actually able to order and receive one. (Rather quickly I might add) This is my second drum mag. The mag I received has the clear see through back cover which is really cool so that was a pleasant surprise. I will order more just in case the need arises. After all you cant have enough guns, ammo and high capacity magazines, right?

I would rate this 5 star if the bolt locked back after the last round. As it is the bolt travels in about half way and stops against the plastic coated dummy feeder rounds. Just pull back the charging lever, lock and drop the mag and ready to go another round. - Enjoy.............

This dual drum mag. is an excellent value.
It's built well and functions just fine. It does not hold the bolt open when empy however.
The mag. loader included with it is a nice touch, allows easy fast loading. Received mine, tested it and quickly ordered another.
