**Quality barrel**

This is a quality barrel. Blued this barrel with Oxpho-Blue while applying some heat and it turned out really nice. Used this barrel on my Polish Underfolder build. Barrel pressed into trunnion nicely, barrel components installed flawlessly. I haven't put any rounds down range yet but I'm sure it will be AK accurate.

Why are people focusing on the look and finish of this barrel? I used this on my AK build, and ceracoted it, and it looks amazing. Forget that now, how does it work? I never had an AK shoot more accurate than mine does with this barrel. I'm getting consistent 1 1/2 inch groups using Tulammo. I easily out shoot any SKS or AK, and it is approaching AR accuracy. Imagine if I handled for this?

I have this barrel installed in my Polish Underfolder and everything fit like it should with no surprises. Accuracy with a good muzzle brake is excellent.

Great barrel for the money. Fit and finish is excellent on my Polish Underfolder . 50 yard groups on stock sight is impressive using Tulammo less than 2 inches. Barrel was painted with black epoxy primer.

Also, people whining about chemical stains have nothing to whine about. You are going to blast and coat it anyways. Any stains are just drip marks from the rinse process. I can only imagine what a pain it is to chrome a barrel. Everything must be masked water tight except for the bore. Be grateful for this nice chrome job at this price. These are five star barrels for the price all day. And btw, classic has great service, so quit whining about 10 bucks you big baby!

Would buy again. Everything was lined up perfectly. Barrel slid into my polish underfolder trunnion with ease. There was chroming blemishes as mentioned above but easily cleaned off. My FSB was really right going on but I didn't use calipers before pressing so that's my fault. Thanks Classic.

Excellent Barrel

I purchased this barrel for my Hungarian AK-63d build and could be more pleased. It does have a few light stains on the metal but that's a given. The gas port is nicely drilled and its nicely machined for the hand guard retaining plate. All in all this is a great barrel and I will definitely buy more.

As others have said, the barrels are in the white, and are stained pretty badly from the chrome lining process. Obviously, you're going to be covering all of that up, so it's not a huge deal. Is it a virgin Romanian CHF barrel? Nope. Is it a nice, new nitrided barrel? Nope. Is it a great US made barrel that will get the job done every time? Absolutely!

Bought two of these 2 weeks ago.....now they go on sale but there's no way to credit the difference in price...Really? I didn't even ask for the money back, just store credit....oh well, guess return customers isn't what they're looking for.

As for the Quality...needed to drop 1 star the barrels are pretty chemically stained on the outside per another review.

This barrel is everything I expected. Even though it isn't a foreign CHF barrel I took a gamble and purchased it. It is very solid and I am very happy with it. No issues drilling into it at all. Good Job Classic Firearms!

I'm giving 4 stars because the first one ordered looked perfect and went together easy with my Maadi kit. This second one still looks good except for the horrible chemical stains. As I know this will get covered, it didn't ruin it for me. Just surprised me why one looked so good and the other looked like a factory second.

Chrome lined is the way to go!

Ordered this chromed lined barrel during the Memorial day sale and I couldn't have made a better choice! Outstanding machine work and excellent chroming is obvious when inspecting this barrel. It comes in the white so a good Manganese Phosphate Parkerizing will be required. I like to use Lauer solution as I have found it to be one of the best! Overall this barrel was A++ and will give many years of service. Thanks Classic Firearms, as usual another excellent product .

I have experience in tool manufacturing, and some gun building and I can say this barrel is very well done, same quality as any high power rifle barrel, nice and clean not some hurry up job pushing machines too fast. Lands and grooves are uniform and sharp. I am pleased
