Initial unboxing of my Molot Vepr 12 and I honest wow. One of the finest guns I have ever owned.

This is my third and final Vepr "12" from classic

1 Tube fixed Stock
For competition - tinkering with tactical add on's and fun*

2 folders
1 Tubular folder for SBS range to - waiting first for paperwork
1 Last tubular folder for home defense
(*& all with same wire / tubular stock/ adjust cheek rests and the RPK look*)

They all Shoot like butter!! all rounds!!

I've also never received guns faster anywhere else!

2 days was at my FFL

Like i said I'm Buying a 3rd Vepr / slash/ a second folder because I’m chopping one folder, once paperwork comes back from Uncle Sam!
AND at while they are still at these RIDICULOUS prices I need another one / Vepr folder for home defense, that isn't a SBS
(PS* Make sure you properly install Vepr 922r compliance kit with at least 5 parts to be safe before even thinking about cutting the weld. The weld is large so it looks like it may need a gunsmith!!!!? I'll keep you guys posted once I get to that point {also whether u SBS it or not it must comply with 922r to be a folder, just because you get a tax stamp to shorten the shot gun doesn't exclude you from 922r compliance!!} Carolina Shooter supply is the cheapest for the parts kit) however if you can get the one Ben at classic already sweated his heart out on on ; )

Only Con but cheaply fixable!!!

The only Difference between this one and the one already converted by classic is the ambidextrous safety on left side has been replaced with blank disc by factory to save money, however the part can be ordered from "Legion USA" and snapped on later, they are a US company with some nice Russian parts WOW.

I'm am so, so frikin happy Ben & Brutus lol : )

I ordered and received this weapon. After cleaning and oiling I immediately went to the range. Loaded my 10 round mag. with 2 rounds game load, 2 rounds OO buck and 2 slugs. even scoured two rounds of game load to make a poor mans OO. the mag.locked tightly in place with no wobble or play. The safety is prominent and easy to operate. When firing the recoil was medium and weapon fell easily back into sighting. Fired all rounds with no jam or failure to load. This is one sweet semi-auto. Put a second mag and sited weapon for 50 yards with no break. On target. As I said what a sweet weapon. Better get one before the supplies run out due to the ban.

Classic delivered again!! The Vepr 12 arrived 2 days after ordering. FFL dealer inspected and was very pleased with this shotgun. It was packaged well and in excellent condition.
The welded folding stock took 15 min with a dremel and a rubber mallet to get it to fold.
Can't wait to get this thing fired up!
Thank you Classic for the heads up reguarding the inability to get more of these awsome guns!

WOW, I am sure glad I bought mine before the ban.
This is a High quality gun, fit and finish, movement, flawless...
Gun shoots like a dream!!! Smooth action, all components working properly.
Really like the movable cheek rise, nice addition.
I am looking forward to accessorizing my gun, lots of after market parts available.
If you have the opportunity, I would definitely grab one!!!

Installed 922r compliance kit from CSS (Carolina Shooter Supply) and was easy as pie!!!

Follow video On CSS website - so easy

THEN PROCEED TO CUT STUPID WELD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the weld cut myself with a dremel - cutting slow & cutting straight larger disc the better so u cut perpendicular to welds

replace disks if you notice your cutting on angle

long side cut the hardest

cut towards stock mostly - don't mess up receiver - cut slow

dont cut reciever!!

keep changing disks cutting slow '' on main weld and bottom

THen hold lock open ad hit a little to make it snap - use towel to avoid injury like me lvl ; )

This shotgun is an amazing piece of machinery. I have put 300 round of 00 buckshot and 50 rounds of slugs through it without a single hiccup and I have only cleaned the weapon twice. I have not tried to shoot anything with a muzzle velocity lower than 1200 fps as I have read that such lower velocity rounds could cause the gun to not cycle properly.

If I was just reviewing the weapon's function and enjoyment factor, it would receive 5 stars. However, the weapon came with a chipped stock near the receiver attachment area. I know these stocks are post-production addition to make the guns 922r compliant, but it was still a bit of a bummer to see for 1500 bucks. Also, the stock was missing a sling attachment.

Overall: 4.5 stars if I could give it such a rating.

Fantastic but needs a different stock.

I received my Vepr a few weeks ago, but due to weather and work, I didn't get to shoot it until today. All I can say is OH MY GOSH!!!!!! All the reviews and articles I read and all the video's were dead on! I finally found and bought a couple ten round mags. The Vepr cycled them perfectly, and I was only shooting 7 1/2 shot. I will be buying an aftermarket stock. The one that it comes with is too short for me, which I noticed someone else said in a video review. This gun is so fun, you can run several $'s worth of shells through it in a very short period of time. When I got home from the range, breaking down and cleaning the Vepr was a breeze. I highly recommend this weapon to anyone that wants the best home defense weapon money can buy, or to anyone that just likes to shoot for fun. If you hunt, the Vepr would be awesome. I don't think I would recommend having a 10 or 12 round mag anywhere near you while hunting though!

First impression,...I saw the original factory box from russia which is nice. Next opened it up and it was wrapped in oil paper,I saw the magazine, the rifle, and some sort of a pin tool,that looked like part of a cleaning tool kit,which dissapointingly, wasnt included. The Rifle itself was beautiful, and precision made! Far above any Ive seen before. The finish and fit were perfect!. On the other hand, the tiny rough wood stock was very small and looked out of place. And for the money paid it should have come with a plastic composite full size type. This gun is intimidating and has awesome features,the bolt release button and last round bolt hold open, along with the self adjusting gas system are what sets this apart from the other types on the market. Glad Classic got them in stock for us.

Out of the box, this Shot Gun is hands down higher quality than its competition. Solid Feel, Heavy Duty Mag, cant wait to try it out.
The folks at Classic made this transaction very pleasant during a difficult time.

Wow - what a nice job Classic did with these. Shipped box-witin-a-box so the original Ruski box was not all banged up. Product looks great. Top rail was straight. Top $$ yes, but top quality too.
