I had been looking for a 1911 style .45acp,for some time,and just happened across this on Classic's website.I originally wanted a full size 1911,but the price was unbeatable,so I took a chance,and ordered one.Boy,I'm glad I did.I am highly impressed with this piece,and the fit and finish was much better than I expected,and for a firearm this inexpensive,I couldn't be more pleased.My second time ordering from Classic,and my gun arrived at my FFL,in less than a week.Thanks,Classic Firearms,I'm sure I'll be buying something else ,again.

Received pistol on 1/22/13. Field stripped and cleaned that evening. The next day took it out and ran a box of 230 grain Blazer thru it. What a pleasant surprise at its accuracy and handling. I will be carrying this pistol instead of my Sig P239 .40 S&W in the future. It comes with a 7 round mag instead of the advertised 6 round. Exceptional gun for the price.

The shots were 2.5" at worst (7 o'clock from center) not moa.It was 25deg.w/15mph gust@25mph.Shipping was great due to enormous demand for everything.Just under 2wks.

Just received my 1911 today.It was blistering butt cold but, had to adapt and overcome.With a quick wipe down,inspection and barrel swab I ran a clip of Winchester 230g FMJ.At 20ft.my first shot was within 1.5 moa.My next 6 withih 2.5 moa (while shivering in the cold).This is exactly what I was looking for.Compact and better than my GI issue from the '70's.If your customers don't buy a Rock when in stock,the price down the road might givem a shock.Oh! The service was great too! THANKS

Cons:Sights are primitive, comes covered in grease and requires full cleaning.
Pros: Inexpensive 1911 with a smooth and shiny feed ramp. Modifications and accessories are plentiful for the 1911 platform. Gun feels finished, unlike kel tec and some others that require a fluff and buff before using. Promag, Remington and Wilson magazines work fine.
