People complain about these mags because they do not have metal feedlips or a metal tang for the mag release. Well, those same people often rave about Magpul AR magazines which also do not.

I tried to get these to fail. They kept on working. I purposely tossed them around, dropped them, etc. They are working. Grab a dozen and see for yourself.

These fit and function great in my Bulgarian 74, never a misfeed. Can't beat them for the money.

I have a bunch of these for my AK-47 (in black) so i bought more for my bulgarian 74, a couple were a little tight (nothing the dremmel could not polish out) I got the orange ones for the 74 so i could tell them apart from the 47s at a quick glance,don't know what most people dont like about tapco mags but they work great for me. and even in these mad times CLASSIC firearms was quick with the shipping.

I got ten of the black Tapco 74 mags. I took them apart, reassembled, and loaded from the OEM charging system ( two 15rd sticks). all worked great. checked fit and feed in two SAIGA converted rifles all were great. The mags have almost no squishy side issues like the old Bakelite mags that i have.

I bought a bunch of these mags for my(5.45x39) bulgarian AK74, I like the orange color it keeps me from picking up one of my black tapco AK47 (7.62x39) mags by mistake,as far as function tapcos are great in ALL my AKs a little tight at first (at the mag release) but after a couple of mag changes ....there perfect. even in this madness classic shipped these mag a good price and fast as well. thanks classic!

Heard several say the fit/finish of the US made mags for this caliber/style firearm is bad..., not my experience..., the ones I purchased feed fine and fit better than the surplus mags I have.
