Aero Precision APSL100503: Literally dozens have asked for it- and Aero Precision is here to deliver. Introducing Aero's limited run of purple anodized parts and components. Perfect for your next 3 Gun build, or just something a little more flashy. This part is finished with a Type 2 purple anodize that provides a large variety of contrast in different lighting conditions.
The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation.
All hardware mounting parts are included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard.
ATLAS Handguards are designed to match seamlessly with Aero Precision's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. Additionally, they are compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers as well. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs.
Please note: The ATLAS Handguards are NOT compatible with Aero's M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver.
NOTE: This part features a colored anodized finish. These finishes are held to different aesthetic standards than parts finished in black anodizing or Cerakote. The lighter coloring allows certain aesthetic marks on the material to be visible through the finish. Some may show more or fewer signs of these defects, but the parts are guaranteed to be quality and in spec. There are also slight color variances between different materials when colored anodizing is applied.
