About Classic Firearms

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Classic Firearms was founded as Classic Arms in Indian Trail, NC in 1989.  The business is Christian owned and makes every effort to live by The Golden Rule.  Since inception, Classic Arms has been determined and focused to bring its customers the best quality military surplus products available while offering some of the most competitive pricing in the marketplace.  Owned today by Rick Jones, that same focus remains. The company has expanded tremendously and is well established as a mail-order and internet supplier of the finest firearms, ammunition, and accessories available.  Classic Firearms is now one of the largest online sellers of military surplus firearms in the United States.

We take pride in the quality of the military surplus products we offer—we pay a premium to our vendors in an effort to receive only the highest quality available.  We take the time to inspect every shipment we receive in an attempt to correctly grade our firearms and thus ensure we are offering the highest quality military surplus items available.  We post a detailed description, based on our current shipment, of the surplus items on our website so our customers will be armed with sufficient information to make an educated buying decision.  And yes, we also post current photos from that current shipment to allow you to view the current quality before placing your order.  This is a unique value-added service only provided by Classic Firearms.

Today, due to customer demand, Classic Firearms has expanded beyond military surplus items and continues to add new products almost on a daily basis.  Be sure to check our website daily to check out our newest products, Joke of the Day, Today in History, and Bible Verse of the Day.  We do hope you will enjoy visiting our website :)  Let us know if there something we can do to make it an even better experience for you as a customer.

Classic Firearms is online and phone order only and thus we are not open to the public. However, we do realize many local folks would like to purchase our products and want to avoid having to pay shipping charges.  To accommodate our local customers, we have set up a relationship with a local gun dealer, Stoney Rushing with Take Aim Training, to handle local transfers of firearms for our customers for a small fee of $25.00.  Stoney will pick up orders once per week and they are available for pick up on Fridays only.

Joke of the Day
A Pirate Walks Into a Bar

A pirate walks into a tavern.
As he approaches the bar, the bartender notices that he has a Ships Wheel attached to the front of the pirates trousers.
The pirate sidles up to the the bar and says, "Yarrr! Tankard of grog!"
Amiably the bartender fills a mug with grog and puts it on the bar in front of the pirate. Unable to restrain himself, the bartender says, "Did you know that there's a Ships Wheel on the front of your pants?"
The pirate pulls a long drink from the mug and responds, "Yarrr! And it's driving me nuts!"

Today in History
Presidential 1935 FDR signs Social Security Act

On this day in 1935, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signs into law the Social Security Act. Press photographers snapped pictures as FDR, flanked by ranking members of Congress, signed into law the historic act, which guaranteed an income for the unemployed and retirees. FDR commended Congress for what he considered to be a “patriotic” act.

Roosevelt had taken the helm of the country in 1932 in the midst of the Great Depression, the nation’s worst economic crisis. The Social Security Act (SSA) was in keeping with his other “New Deal” programs, including the establishment of the Works Progress Administration and the Civilian Conservation Corps, which attempted to hoist America out of the Great Depression by putting Americans back to work.

Although it was initially created to combat unemployment, Social Security now functions primarily as a safety net for retirees and the disabled, and provides death benefits to taxpayer dependents. The Social Security system has remained relatively unchanged since 1935.

Verse of the Week
We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. —Ephesians 2:10

The Psalmist reminded us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and God has something definite planned for us to do while we are here. We display his craftsmanship and skill when we intentionally live for him and not like the rest of the world.
