About Classic Firearms

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Classic Firearms was founded as Classic Arms in Indian Trail, NC in 1989.  The business is christian owned and makes every effort to live by The Golden Rule.  Since inception, Classic Arms has been determined and focused to bring its customers the best quality military surplus products available while offering some of the most competitive pricing in the marketplace.  Owned today by Rick Jones, that same focus remains. The company has expanded tremendously and is well established as a mail-order and internet supplier of the finest firearms, ammunition, and accessories available.  Classic Firearms is now one of the largest online sellers of military surplus firearms in the United States.

We take pride in the quality of the military surplus products we offer—we pay a premium to our vendors in an effort to receive only the highest quality available.  We take the time to inspect every shipment we receive in an attempt to correctly grade our firearms and thus ensure we are offering the highest quality military surplus items available.  We post a detailed description, based on our current shipment, of the surplus items on our website so our customers will be armed with sufficient information to make an educated buying decision.  And yes, we also post current photos from that current shipment to allow you to view the current quality before placing your order.  This is a unique value-added service only provided by Classic Firearms.

Today, due to customer demand, Classic Firearms has expanded beyond military surplus items and continues to add new products almost on a daily basis.  Be sure to check our website daily to check out our newest products, Joke of the Day, Today in History, and Bible Verse of the Day.  We do hope you will enjoy visiting our website :)  Let us know if there something we can do to make it an even better experience for you as a customer.

Classic Firearms is mail-order only and thus we are not open to the public.  However, we do realize many local folks would like to purchase our products and want to avoid having to pay shipping charges.  To accommodate our local customers, we have set up a relationship with a local gun dealer, Stoney Rushing with Take Aim Training, to handle local transfers of firearms for our customers for a small fee of $25.00.  Stoney will pick up orders once per week, currently Friday mornings, from our facility and you can then pick up at his store located as follows…

Joke of the Day
I believe I have sat next to this lady

“Hi! My name is Gertrude,” said the lady next to him on the plane.  “It’s so nice to meet you! I’m flying to New York for my grandson’s third birthday. I’m so excited! I remember when he was just a little thumbkin and now he’s already three!  It’s really hard to believe. He’s the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen! You know what?  Hold on, I think I might have a picture on me.  Let me take a look in my purse, yes, here it is, just look at him, isn’t he adorable. Do you see his dimple on his left cheek? Simply adorable! I could stare at his picture all day. Oh my, and you should hear him on the phone!  He is just the cutest, he says to me in the cutest voice “Hi Grandma!” It just gets me all teary eyed.” After what seemed like two hours for the poor man sitting next to her, Gertrude seemed to realize that perhaps she was talking a bit too much. “You know, I feel terrible! Here I am just talking and talking without letting you get in a word edgewise! Tell me..what do you think about my Grandson!”

Verse of the Week
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

How can we keep our circumstances from determining our mood? How can we emancipate ourselves from the limitations that life deals us? The last in the trio of commandments opens the door for the other two to be true — we can rejoice in hope and we can be patient in affliction because we have been faithful in prayer. No matter what our situation is, we can pray with joy because of our hope in Christ no matter what our current situation is. We can remain patient, persevering through affliction, by presenting our requests and intercessions to God with thanksgiving. Prayer is God's gift to us so that we can be patient and joyful, even when things don't appear to be going well.
