Armament Systems & Procedures 35750: Thanks to its high performance and pocketable form factor the original Scribe AAA is an ASP best-seller, and a mainstay tool in our international tactical training programs. This new DF variant of the Scribe pushes the output even further - to 350 lumens - while adding the benefit of Dual Fuel technology. It ships with a 10900 lithium-ion battery that recharges inside the light, or you can swap the rechargeable battery out for two readily-available AAA disposable cells if you don't have time to recharge. Like all ASP lights, the Scribe DF is designed for real-world simplicity and single-handed use, with all light modes accessible via a single tail switch: A half press turns the light on in momentary mode, a full press/click sets it to constant-on. Our Double Tap feature activates a low, 15 lumen setting with just a quick second press of the same switch. The Scribe DF is built to the same professional law enforcement standards as the full-size Duty Lights, and packs an extraordinary amount of technology into its slim chassis. A constant current circuit board drives a Cree XPG LED, pushing bright, white light through a mirror polished reflector and optical glass lens. The heat generated by the Scribe's high power and performance is managed by a thermal control system. The recharging system includes a protected micro-USB port and a tri-color charge status/battery capacity indicator.
