Bear & Son 5A97: The Bear & Son 5A97 is an everyday carry pocket knife that features the traditional style with the modern functionality of an automatic. The blade immediately folds open with the simple press of a recessed button. The Bear & Son 5A97 features the traditional appearance of a lockback but with a Genuine India Stag Bone Handle. The 5A97 weighs 2.9 ounces and is designed with a Hollow Ground 3-3/4 High Carbon Stainless Steel blade that is rust resistant and holds an edge very well. The 5A97 is easy to sharpen although a diamond sharpener is recommended due to the metal hardness. The Nickel Silver bolsters adds the more traditional appearance and it is designed with a pocket clip for tip-up carry. The Bear & Son 5A97 is designed with a stainless-steel positive lock to ensure that the blade remains firmly in place once opened. The Bear & Son 5A97 has an overall length of 8-3/4 and is proudly made in the USA.
