Introducing the Browning 011428205: Specifically designed for hunting or sporting clays, the Browning Silver Field Shotgun is the cream of the crop. This model gracefully borrows the tried-and-true active valve gas operation from the Gold Series, setting the Silver ahead of its competitors with the least recoil, achieving up to 50% reduction in felt recoil.
This versatile firearm comfortably accommodates a wide spectrum of loads. The 12-gauge 3" Silver model fires everything from the lightest 1 oz., 2 3/4" target loads to the most sizable 3" magnums. Alternatively, the larger 3 1/2" version can handle anything from 1 1/8 oz., 2 3/4" field loads to colossal 3 1/2" magnums.
Expect precision with every shot, courtesy of the innovatively designed back-bored barrel technology. Your shot patterns will be compact, even, consistent and dense. This technology not only improves accuracy, but also offers an additional decrease in felt recoil.
The Silver features a large trigger guard complete with the iconic Buck Mark etched in gold. This is carefully designed with rounded edges to cater for gloved fingers. Cleaning is also made effortless with the Silver's trigger assembly, removable in just seconds for thorough maintenance.
In terms of capacity, the magazine can hold: four rounds with a 2 3/4" load, one in the chamber, three with a 3' load, one in the chamber, and for a 3 1/2" load, three in the magazine, one in the chamber. Included with the Silver Field Shotgun are a three-shot magazine adapter plug, a flat wrench, and three types of choke tubes - full, modified, and improved cylinder.
