We think the manufacturer is being overly honest in calling these Blems at all and when you hear the story I think you will agree. But hey, we never look a gift horse in the mouth and in this day and time we were more than happy to get them whether we had to list them as B code rifles or not. Here is the story. The front trunnion on this group of rifles arrived to the builder with a slightly different shade of phosphate coating on them than what had histroically been the trunion color during the course of the VSKA run. Same hardness, same steel spec, same heat treating, same warranty, but a slightly different shade in the coloring. But here is the kicker. The front trunnion is an internal part surrounded by the receiver so it is not visible anyway. We have loked at them closely side by side with our non-blem code rifles in the same configuration and we can't see any external differences whatsoever. We got a very minor discount on these so we are passing it on to you, but the bottom line is you can't tell the difference between these and what are being sold as non-blem guns and all manufacture warranties are exactly the same and still apply.
