PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Cold Steel CS-20KPL Kiridashi is a classic example of the original Japanese utility knife. This versatile tool was traditionally kept in the sleeve pocket of a kimono, used by Samurai and peasants alike. Nowadays, its functionality reaches across all of Japan, being used by everyone from children to master craftsmen. Comparable to the western pocket knife, the Kiridashi acts as a multi-purpose tool, handling tasks such as whittling, carving, paring, and an array of different cutting chores.

The blade of our Kiridashi folder is made from 4034SS stainless steel, honed to a razor-sharp finish, and designed in the time-honored shape. Coupled with a durable Griv-Ex grip, this knife ensures longevity as it resists rotting, cracking, warping, and mildewing. Safety is also a key feature, as it is equipped with our Tri-Ad Locking mechanism to safeguard your fingers while you work.
