The Cold Steel CS-20NQX is a product of Lynn C. Thompson's passionate engagement in Filipino Martial Arts, working in collaboration with Mike Wallace to design the practical and versatile Luzon (LOO-ZAHN) folder. The Luzon's blades are made from top-quality 8Cr13MoV Stainless steel, carefully hardened to a sturdy 57-58 Rockwell level. The resulting blades are intensely sharp, robust, and versatile due to their well-structured points and a hint of belly for added usefulness.

Designed to resemble bamboo, the Luzon's handles feature a series of concave segments, offering users a wide range of comfortable grip alternatives. Made from the reliable glass-filled nylon (GFN), the handles are designed to be resilient and unaffected by weather conditions. Safety is a priority in the Luzon's design. It is fitted with a robust leaf-spring lock and a (patent-pending) secondary safety mechanism that remains highly resistant to shock and impact when engaged, giving you incomparable, reliable safety performance.
