The Cold Steel CS97THAMS Thai Machete is the fruit of more than 4 years of intense development and meticulous refinement. Mirroring the elegance and balance of the Thai swords that served as its blueprint, this Machete is characterized by its finely honed cutting edge and sharply pointed tip. In traditional Thai combat arts, it is common to see these long, curved blades wielded in pairs. But their versatility extends beyond this, as they are light enough to be used one-handed, yet also designed with a long enough handle to allow a two-handed grip for added leverage and increased cutting power.

This Thai Machete stands out as an exceptional brush cutter due to its wide blade and curved cutting edge, deftly cutting through grass, vines, and light foliage. The blade is fully sharpened and forged from the durable 1055 Carbon Steel like all other designs in our popular Machete series. Designed for a secure grip, the robust polypropylene handle has a flattened oval shape to prevent twisting or turning during use, complemented by a steel-reinforced guard that provides additional hand protection.

Sharpened to perfection at our Ventura HQ, the Thai Machete is paired with a Cor-Ex sheath for safe carrying and storage.
