The AD-15 stands out with its saber ground spear point blade, which not only boasts a false edge but also features detailed jimping on the spine. This unique design presents superior piercing capabilities along with unfaltering edge control, enabling highly precise cutting maneuvers.

In its class of its own, the AD-15 gains recognition for its unconventional, hybrid handle, a creation featuring the renowned Scorpion Lock by Andrew. The construct of this visually striking handle is quite complex, with its lower section made from 3D-machined G-10 scales that are seamlessly paired with sturdy steel liners. The upper part of the handle, known as the 'yoke', is crafted using a 3D-machined 6061 aluminum billet which incorporates an integral back spacer that neatly tucks away a highly-efficient compression spring.

To unfold the knife, you simply have to engage the thumb stud, lifting the yoke until it snugly settles into a deep notch precisely cut in the blade's tang. The knife is held in a secure fashion, owing to the relentless pressure from the spring and reinforced by the strength of the owner's grip.
