The Hatfield SGL 12 is a single barrel 12 ga. shotgun featuring a walnut buttstock with rubber recoil pad, checkered pistol grip, and a matching walnut forend. The SGL's action is the classic exposed hammer, break-open style, which incorporates an action-bar safety requiring the trigger to be pulled and held rearward for the gun to fire and also a crossbolt hammer-blocking safety for additional security. The SGL has a 28" modified choked barrel chambered for 2.75" and 3" magnum shells, with a full length ventilated rib and brass bead front sight. Both the receiver and barrel of the Hatfield SGL 12 are finished in high gloss black chrome for wear and corrosion resistance.
