PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hornady 22416 is a particular model of Hornady's V-Max Bullets, designed with a polymeric tip to dramatically improve accuracy and create explosive expansion. The unique design of the tip increases the ballistic coefficient, resulting in a higher velocity while also functioning as a wedge to initiate expansion of the bullet. For enhanced long-range shooting, a boat tail design is incorporated to ensure in-flight stability.

Hornady's specialized swaging procedure allows for an accurate formation of the core around the bullet tip. This specific technique encourages the accumulation of energy, ultimately contributing to the extraordinary performance of the bullet. A copper jacket is also included, providing the required bearing surface for optimal stability upon exiting the barrel. This jacket is extra durable and is fully capable of withstanding the accelerated twist rates of high-end varmint rifles. Please note that this product is not loaded ammunition.
