PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Leupold 49866 is part of Leupold's comprehensive range of detachable steel precision mounts, a collection renowned for its cross slot design. The quick-release Weaver style mounts employ a double lever mechanism that can be adapted to lock the rings into the base. To establish a lock, all you need to do is rotate the levers.

Additionally, the product comes with spring-loaded levelers which can be retracted or "parked" by extracting each lever separately, this action disengages it from the locking screw. This feature enables you to alter the levers to your preferred position. You only need to release the levers back into the spring after adjustment.

Remarkably, the quick-release Weaver style rings have been tailored to retrofit any current cross-slot base. This capability allows for the transformation of any existing mount bases into a quick detach system conveniently.
