This aluminum scope mount is precision milled using 100% U.S. made 6061 heat-treat aerospace aluminum alloy and then put through a rigorous multiple point final inspection process to insure quality fit and function prior to finishing with a black hard-coat anodize. Each mount comes with all mounting hardware, fasteners, hex wrenches, and detailed instructions. A receiver inspection kit is included to insure the mating receiver was milling to original USGI specifications. The SADLAK Brookfield-type scope mounts are a positive 3-point design that allows removal and re-assembly without losing zero. The Picatinny-style rail is machined to Mil. Spec 1913 and provides universal scope mounting.
The aluminum mount is made to the same rugged 3-point contact design from 7075 heat treated aircraft aluminum. The standard finish is black hard-coat anodize. This model is lightweight and is a lower cost alternative that makes it an ideal mount for rifles used in less demanding circumstances or seasonally, as in hunting.
All mounting hardware, fasteners, and hex wrenches and detailed instructions are included.
