The Sierra Bullets 1370: Varminter Bullets are uniquely engineered for quick expansion and immediate extermination of larger varmints and small game. These bullets come with thin jackets crafted to enhance expansion while simultaneously maintaining the strength required to be fired at peak muzzle velocities for each cartridge they are intended for.
Within this category, bullet shapes range from hollow point (HP) to spitzer pointed flat base (SPT), and semi-pointed (SMP). In particular, bullets labelled as Blitz are specially made for medium velocity (under 3600 fps).
The Hornet bullets are designed to reliably expand in the 2500 to 2800 fps velocity range. They can also be loaded into cartridges capable of achieving muzzle velocities as high as 3500 fps. When propelled at 223 Remington velocities, the Hornet converts into an explosive "Blitz" style Varminter.
