PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Sierra Bullets 1710: Varminter Bullets are meticulously crafted to ensure rapid expansion and immediate termination on larger varmints and small game. With their thin jackets, these bullets are engineered to enhance expansion while maintaining the strength to withstand the highest muzzle velocities of the cartridges they are intended for. The variety of bullet shapes within this range include hollow point (HP), spitzer pointed flat base (SPT), and semi-pointed (SMP).

Particularly, bullets that are indicated as Blitz are optimized for medium velocity, specifically under 3600 fps. On the other hand, Hornet bullets are built to reliably increase in size in the 2500 to 2800 fps velocity range, while they can also be loaded in cartridges that produce up to 3500 fps muzzle velocity. Notably, at 223 Remington velocities, the Hornet transitions into an explosive "Blitz" style Varminter.
