We run across this from time to time and it always provides a great value to our customers while still providing a top-quality, as new firearm. So here is the deal. These pistols were contracted by a law enforcement agency and a portion of the pistols actually went from the LEO distributor to the department to await issuance. However, before being issued, the department decided to go in a different direction, with a different model. As such, these pistols were released back into circulation where we were able to purchase them. In terms of being new, they are new, unfired ( except for the factory test fire ) pistols, and they absolutely appear as such. However, since they did go to the department, and since a box or two may have been opened for inspection, we cannot sell them as new... so we are calling the Unissued LEO Trade In's, which they are.
