Introducing the latest addition to our distinguished line of cutting tools, the Spyderco C258PBK: Stretch 2 XL Lightweight, innovating a three-decade-long legacy. Originating as an optimized tool for hunting enthusiasts, the earlier models have transformed over time into ultimate all-round tools. Drawing inspiration from its predecessor, the Stretch 2, this XL model increases the overall design length by a substantial eight percent, while incorporating a thirteen percent extension in the blade length of its straight-spined, full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade.

Contrary to its increased dimensions, the knife features a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle that sheds its weight by an impressive 29 percent compared to its predecessor, the Stretch 2, which used stainless steel liners. The handle, created from an injection-molding process, boasts a Bi-Directional Texturing that ensures a firm grip, complemented by a fully configurable four-position pocket clip and a solid back lock system.

The Stretch 2 XL Lightweight offers remarkable performance that's larger than life, all while weighing in at a mere 2.7 ounces (77 grams), setting a trailblazing new benchmark for lightweight, daily carry cutting tools.
