Speaker 1:Hey everybody, Ben with Classic Firearms here. Today is Tuesday, July the 18th and we've got a real treat for you today. You know, last week we had a private collection that we had purchased from a collector up in Ohio. Beautiful collection, had some 1903s and 1903A3s as well as some K31s. Well, this is the continuation of the closeout in that collection today. We've got some beautiful M1 carbines to bring to you. These came from the Civilian Marksmanship Program, the CMP, the Department of Civilian Marksmanship. They're all in the original boxes. Folks, before we get into these individual guns and show you what we've got, if you have a collection of guns, we want to buy your guns, so if you've got an inheritance, if you've got a collection that you're just ready to turn into money, give us a call. We pay top dollar and we'll put them in the hands of someone who will really appreciate and enjoy them, as we've been doing with these private collections in the past. Dillon's running the camera today. I'm very excited about these. Dillon, come on and let's show the folks what we have. What we have here is a collection of original M1 carbines, all from their original military contract manufacturers, just like they came to the original buyer from the CMP, the Civilian Marksmanship Program. While you're on this end, Dillon, we'll just go ahead and jump right in and start with the guns. This is a National Postal Meter. National Postal Meter was one of the rare manufacturers that were pressed into service during World War II to manufacture M1 carbines because of the great need for armament during World War II. All of these rifles come with the sling just like they came from the CMP. Five of them come with the mag pouches. While we're here we'll show you this mag pouch. It's a dual mag pouch. Well, look there. That's made by the Biscayne Tent and Awning Company. That's the same people that made the housecoats that my mother-in-law wears, Biscayne Tent and Awning. Just kidding, Miss Kathy, don't jerk a knot on my head, just kidding. Anyway, this is the National Postal Meter. It has a Marlin barrel on it, which is original to the National Postal Meter M1 carbine. National Postal Meter did not make their own barrels, as several of the manufacturers did not. So Marlin contracted and provided barrels for National Postal Meter. That is historically correct, you could look it up. Just a beautiful rifle. We were running this rifle here and we're selling them by serial number on each of these individual rifles, but National Postal Meter here, at that serial number, is $1,199.99. We will move right on. Our next rifle is a Winchester. It has a Winchester barrel. I've checked the barrel markings on all of these. We're having to use our old camera, folks. We had a card issue with our new camera, so if the quality is not what you've seen over the last few days, I apologize for that. Because of that, we're not going to try to focus on these small markings on the barrel because I'm just afraid the camera would not pick them up, but trust me, I've checked them. This is a Winchester rifle. It has a Winchester barrel. I'll let Dillon scan the other side. The two mags that come inside the mag pouch are original mags. When they came to us in the boxes, they came just like this, without a magazine in the weapon. We have provided the third mag in the weapon rather than take one out of the mag pouch. I never like to display any firearm without a magazine in it. So these are actually coming with two mags that came from the CMP and then one mag we're providing. Anyway, this is a Winchester with a Winchester barrel, highly collectible original, only $1,499.99. Our next rifle's Quality Hardware. The Quality Hardware rifle, there were a lot of these M1 carbines produced for the military by Quality Hardware. They did not produce their own barrels either. This one has an Underwood bomb barrel on it. It actually has the image of the bomb, which is inherent of the Underwood barrels that they made, so you'll get that. This is actually a beautiful rifle. It has a gorgeous stock on it, mag pouch. All of these are coming in the original boxes just like they came from the CMP to the owner. You'll see the original FedEx stickers on them and so forth with only the original address cut out from the original owner to protect his anonymity. Anyway, this is very nice Quality Hardware M1 carbine, all original, at $1,299.99. Moving right along, this is a Saginaw. Folks, those of you who know M1 carbines understand this. If you don't know M1 carbines, the reason I'm not showing the manufacturer, Saginaw, which is the Saginaw Michigan plant, the GM plant in Saginaw, Michigan that made this rifle, the Saginaw is listed under the rear site. Dillon, I'm going to let you get a shot as best we can with the light, although you're not going to be able to see much. You can see maybe just a little bit. With the naked eye and with a flashlight, I can get on an angle, I can read Saginaw up under there. Hard to show on camera, so that's why we're really not showing it. But anyway, this is a Saginaw rifle with a Saginaw GM plant barrel on the rifle. Gorgeous rifle, selling it by serial number in the original CMP box with manual and all the goodies at $1,299.99 We'll move right along. Our next rifle is one of the most highly collectible. It's sought after of all the M1 carbines. This is an original Rockola. An original Rockola, not a renamed or a remanufactured Rockola or one of the more modern ones, but this is the original Rockola Jukebox company, manufactured M1 carbine. Rockola is actually one of, if not the only one of these manufacturers that actually stepped far enough out from under the rear side aperture that you're able to make out the manufacturing stamp on it. So if we can get good light, I'm going to show you that, and we're doing everything we can to get you the light. You're seeing it, Dillon? Got it. Okay. Rockola manufacturer. It actually has ... I'm going to take a chance on this, Dillon, because I can see it with my naked eye from here. My eyes are bad, so I think the camera will pick it up if I get good light on it. You see the Rockola also wraps around this barrel, so it's a Rockola manufacturer on the barrel itself. An original Rockola M1 carbine with all the neat stuff, highly collectible. Folks, I probably have this one underpriced by at least $200 or $300 bucks, but we've got it right now. You can order it under the custom option for Rockola under that serial number for only $1,499.99. Brings us to our last two rifles. Our last two rifles did not have the mag pouches with them. That's just the way they came to us, so we couldn't provide it. so instead of that, we have thrown an aftermarket 30 round mag with these last two to hopefully compensate for that mag pouch. This rifle is a Standard Products. Standard Products, another military contract manufacturer during World War II for the US government. It has an Underwood bomb barrel on it. Underwood made barrels for many of the manufacturers that didn't produce for themselves. A beautiful rifle. Standard Products made a high number of M1 carbines, so these are not quite as collectible as some of the other ones and we have priced it accordingly. But just a gorgeous, gorgeous example of an original World War II era military M1 carbine. Again, nothing aftermarket here, folks. These are all original US military Standard Products. This one is at $1,099.99. And last but not least, IBM Corporation. They've made everything from typewriters to super computers to printers, etc. Everybody knows IBM. They were also pressed into service by the military in World War II to manufacture M1 carbines. IBM because of the name is highly collectible. This one has an Inland manufacturer, which is a GM plant, Inland, Michigan, a GM plant. Inland GM manufacturer barrel on it, which is true because IBM did not manufacture their own barrels. It's a gorgeous IBM M1 carbine. This one actually has a round bolt instead of the flat bolt. The round bolt is the M2 bolt, so this was a select fire weapon at one time. Gorgeous rifle, beautiful hand guard. My hand guard and stock on this one probably matched better than anything I have on the table. Don't miss this opportunity, folks. Three mags, three 15 round mags at a 30 and the owner's manual, etc. at only $1,399.99. Folks, today is Tuesday. These will be releasing for sale on Wednesday the 19th at 12 p.m., so we hope that you'll come along, take a chance on one of these great M1 carbines. These do not come along every day. They are releasing tomorrow at 12. Before we go away, folks, our new T-shirts are in. We've had the olive drab for awhile, the olive green. They have done well. We also have red ones now and gray ones. I'll tell you a little bit about the cut size if you want to get your right size. I typically wear a double X. This is a 3X and even the 3X is a little tight on me. When I go to a 4X it's so long I trip over it because I'm kind of a short guy, so for me a 3X. If you normally wear a double X, I would say order a 3X. Maybe order one size larger, but they're great value. They're a really good material. They hold their shape wash after wash. We spend a little extra money to get good quality base T-shirts, so something that will last you a long time. And if you order it along with any other item, you can get them for only $9.99. Folks, if you like our videos and want to get it to come to you directly on subscription, you can press this button right here and sign up. Otherwise, God bless as always, and thank you for being with us at www.classicfirearms.com.
