Video: New Batch of Finnish Tikka M91/30 Mosin Nagant Rifles

Hey everybody, Ben with Classic Firearms here. Today is Monday, April the 17th, and we have something really special for you today. Anytime we go too long without showing some surplus on one of our videos, people get antsy and they start calling us to say, "When are you bringing the surplus back?" Today, we're bringing surplus back, and we're bringing it back in a big way because this is simply something you never see on the marketplace. What we have today is the rarest of the rare in M9130 rifles. Finnish Tikka made M9130 rifles, and we're going to tell you more about them here in just a moment. Dylan's running the camera, so he's going to come in and take a look at them. What we have, we have about 20 some add, it's in the low 20s, 22, 23, something like that, total rifles. All are the Tikka variation made in Finland with the Tikka stamp on top of the receivers. We have them in several different variations and quality codes. Dylan, since you're on this end of the table, we will start right here. I'm going to let you see the tag first. These came from Century Arms. I think they're part of the Samco Liquidation. I believe that's where these came from. They've been in the country quite some time. This is the GC code. The GC will be our base code rifle. It stands for good cracked, so somewhere the importer or the people at Century, when they graded this, found a crack somewhere in the stock. I am not seeing it, but we're gonna sell by their grading code on this rifle. These are not arsenal reconditioned. These are factory turning condition. I can see this, Dylan. The light's better at the other end of the table, so we're gonna wait till we get up there to show the Tikka crest, but all of them have the Tikka crest. The good cracked is gonna be our baseline rifle, folks, as far as price is concerned. Here's another GC rifle. Let me show you the code here. Again, they're saying this rifle has a crack somewhere on the stock. I do not see a crack. I do see a couple of divots. It's got a scrub or a gouge right there, has another gouge right here on the forearm. Knowing Century, that's what they're calling a crack, but again, it's a Tikka. Some of these have differences in the front sights. I've noticed we're not gonna make an upcharge or a down-charge because of the front sight, but I do want you to be aware of it. Dylan, let's look at a couple of those. This is your traditional hooded type front sight. The next one on the table has a V-type front sight. We have a few that have the open protective ears like this all in the Tikka. This is another good cracked while I'm holding it. You can see the overall condition. Again, I don't see the crack, but there may be a minor one in there. Then we have some goods. We got some very goods. We have some very good cracked, and we have some Hex receiver rifles. Let's move on up to the Hex receiver. This is my G code X receiver. See the G here on the code. You can see the Finnish ware that downgrades it from a very good to a good. There's a lot of bluing wear there, but we are in better light. So while we're here Dylan, lets take a look and you tell me if you can see the Tikka. Is that picking up. Yes sir. All right very good. All of these are Finnish Tikkas, they will have the serial number on top of the receiver, as well as the date of manufacture. This is VC code in a Hitch receiver. I want to show you the VC codes, so that's very good cracked, again they're saying that we'll have a cracked stock somewhere, but I want you to see the X receiver and again I want you to see the Tikka stamping, which all of these have. So we have various condition Round receiver guns, we have various condition X receiver guns all in the Tikka. Lets go to the very end and show the best one on the table. This one is just a very good. We have a couple in the very good. Come on in here Dylan. I know all hell from behind the table, but that's a pretty nice rifle there. We have two in the v good and again that is a X receiver gun and can you make that out? I know the lighting is not bests in here. I'll step right here and show the other side. Collectors, you know what getting a Finnish M9130 means, 99 percent and above that came in the country, Russian are actually only a very small portion of one percent of the M9130 ever made were Finnish and made by Tikka. So these are crew collectors find. I'm not gonna go through all the different price points. We're gonna have our good cracked, will be our base model. I do know these will be on the site. I think it's a very attractive price. These will be on the site at 399.99 with custom options for the other grades of both Round receiver and X receiver gun, so you'll see that on the ad, by the time you see this video the ad will be live, but we're not releasing the guns for sale until 12 o'clock on Tuesday. So come back 12 o'clock Tuesday, we will quantized the gun, meaning we will put the quality live in stock and make them have quantity and then they will sell at 12 o'clock Tuesday. Yes, folks I'm back, I notice something has I was leaving the table, walking away from the video, a lot of times I have the staff set these tables up for me, so I never really inspected the guns terribly, closely, personally myself before I start the video and then I'll notice something during doing the video. Then if you'll come in. I notice one of these that has a pretty permanent crack, I will venture to say that this will be a worse case scenario on a crack on one of these rifles that you will see. I've inspected all of the guys on the table at least. I haven't seen anything nearly this bad, but this is one of our X receiver VC, very good cracked. We've inspect both sides, the crack on this particular one is fairly prominent. So I wanted the camera to pick it up. Someone will get this rifle now. If I get it, if I'm buying this and I get it, to me that's very repairable, if you have basic wood working skills, particularly a good clean crack like that is really easy to repair. Just take the rifle out of the stock and repair the stock, but I did want to see a worse case scenario. If I ever see something that jumps out at me, I'm going to share it with you folks. So that would be the worse case scenario on one of the very good cracks, of course we have the highest in the very good that we found no cracks in also at the premium price point.
