Speaker 1:
Hey everybody. Bill with Classic Firearms, here. Today is Wednesday, July the 5th. Today we're going to continue with closing out the remainder of our M39 rifles. On Sunday, my wife and I came in here. We shot a video on our VKTs that have some rust and some cracks in the stocks. We pre-populated about 60 total rifles across the three different custom options. We have standard grade, mid grade, and very good grade. We only pre-populated about 20 of each because we didn't know how many of each grade we're going to be down inside that Gaylord. Over the July 4th holiday, we sold out of those rifles, at least the ones we had populated. We did ourselves a little bit of a disservice there. Came in again today. We had the guys count lower in the Gaylord. They're actually still doing that, they're completing their counts. That's why we're not showing you the Gaylord right now. But we do want to show you another example of each one of the grades of the rifle, what you can kind of expect if you order out of that grade. Certainly the price point is great. We've got $275, starting at $275 for the standard grade. Now bear in mind again that all of these rifles will have a crack somewhere in the stock and/or some minor degree of rust on them. Now before we show you the rifles folks, one very important thing. We're getting some comments about doing these M39 videos. People say, "Why do I have to look at that video? It's redundant. I don't care about an M39." Folks, listen to me. If you don't care about an M39, turn this off and don't watch the video anymore. If this is not your cup of tea, just don't watch it. Leave it alone. We're not trying to sell you an M39 every day. For those who still want an M39, or are looking for something specific, we are offering this service. So we're taking our time to make these videos strictly for the small section of customers that are still looking for a specific M39. But again, if it's not your cup of tea, turn it off, don't watch it. Nobody's forcing it on you. Having said that, Dylan's running the camera. Dylan, come on in here, let's take a look. This is a good example of our standard grade. Again, it's the VKT. We'll get a close up on the receiver. So you can see the VKT markings. You are going to see a little bit of speckly rust somewhere on this receiver, a tiny bit on the sight. This one is virtually rust free. There is a little bit here on the cocking handle. Otherwise, the wear on this rifle is going to be in the form of a crack. I see the crack here on the hand guard, so there is a crack represented there. And the overall condition bluing wear, more dents and dings, that type of thing will leave this as a standard grade rifle. Even the standard grades are very functional, so you shouldn't have any problems. They should be great shooters. We're not going to sell you pile of junk, but it's a standard grade surplus M39 rifle with a minor cracked stock or a little bit of rust. Let's move on to a mid grade. And I'll just turn this rifle sideways so Dylan can shoot it. You're going to see a better stock. You're still going to see some rust, I see some rust here where some moisture has set right on the side of that receiver. That is surface rust, it is not pitted down into the metal, but it is there, and Dylan if you'll back off I'll show them the other side. So there's our mid grades. Standard grades starting at $275, mid grades are at $300. Again, solid functional rifles. And then folks, we have some very nice rifles still in these Gaylords that will have a little bit of rust. All of them will not have a tiger stripe stock like this one, but some do actually. You see very good bluing still on this. We have some very speckly rust. You see it here, you'll see a little bit on the bolt. Again, that rust is going to be very common to surplus. Most people don't even point it out, they just send it, but we're pointing these out. Expect a minor cracked stock. I see a minor crack here. There was a ding on the hand guard of course. There's a little crack on there. But other than that, a very nice, very functional beautiful VKT rifle. This is the upper grade at $325. Folks, we're going to post another 40 or 50, sell through those and then we'll bring back and see what we have left. After that, that will be it for this grade of VKTs. Folks, when we say "minor rust," we have some heavy rust guns coming. There are a few here, there aren't that many, but we do have a few with some heavy rust. That will be the next thing, and then all the VKTs will be gone. We appreciate your business and we'll see you next time.
