The first feature to capture your attention will undoubtedly be the impressive carbon fiber Peak 44 Blacktooth stock, the same esteemed stock used on our sublime Backcountry Ti 2.0. With the inclusion of a 3DHE recoil pad and Accubrake ST on this lightweight configuration, the recoil of this firearm is significantly reduced for optimal shooting comfort.
Its Barrel, Receiver, and Trigger Guard are cloaked in a rugged Tungsten Cerakote finish. Additionally, our Vanguard Talon's Bolt and Safety features a Graphite black Cerakote coating. The high-grade carbon fiber stock is adorned with distinctive Green and White sponge pattern accents, elevating the firearm's visual appeal.
Designed with precision, the Vanguard Talon incorporates features of the Backcountry 2.0 family. With a weight of a mere 19oz, thanks to the Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock, the Vanguard Talon is one of the lightest on the market. The overall weight starts at a modest 6.2lbs, providing a noticeable weight advantage compared to other Vanguard models.

The Vanguard barrels benefit from a cold hammer forging process that enhances their reliability and accuracy, a distinctive advantage in their price range. Backed by our guarantee, every Vanguard is capable of shooting a 3-shot group measuring .99 or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel, when combined with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition.
The Vanguard Talon comes complete with a 3-position safety and a two-stage match-grade trigger. The fluted and fully enclosed bolt body sets us apart. In addition, all Vanguards feature a one-piece machined bolt body and integral recoil lug for an unparalleled shooting experience. Other attributes include a 3DHEX Recoil Pad, cold hammer forged barrel, and hinged floorplate.
