The Winchester 535776264, also known as the XPR, is a novel rifle designed for current, high-expectation hunters. It features a sturdy, practical design that is guaranteed to consistently provide game for your household. The XPR bolt-action rifle, complete with various features, exemplifies the enduring quality that Winchester Repeating Arms has become synonymous with.
At the core of every XPR rifle lies Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. Constructed from polished, hardened carbon steel with a blued finish, the trigger housing and all internal components enjoy enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. The two-position safety system on the rifle ensures easy operation with the firing hand's thumb. Additionally, the bolt release button, conveniently located in front of the safety button, allows the unfired cartridges to cycle while the safety is activated. On the bolt shroud, the cocking indicator provides visual and tactile feedback regarding the rifle's cocked/uncocked state.
The sturdy XPR bolt, manufactured from chromoly steel barstock, is strengthened via heat-treatment. Having three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift, the bolt design facilitates improved scope clearance during cycling. A layer of robust nickel Teflon enhances its corrosion resistance and ensures smooth operation.
The rifle's one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame offer a large guard opening, suitable for use with gloves. The XPR's chromoly steel barrel is engineered with precision button-rifting that promotes exceptional accuracy with various bullet weights and types. The barrel is free-floating to avert any accuracy compromisation due to pressure points.
Additional features of the Winchester XPR include a drilled and tapped chromoly steel receiver, a synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a detachable single stack box magazine.
