To shoot this ammo is to love this ammo. Believe me, I know... I shoot it, and I love it. I love the way it's packed, I love that it is on stripper clips. I love the way the brass feeds and extracts and the way that it throws that brass differently than steel cased ammo when it ejects. I love the way that is is so easy on both my chamber and bore. I love the low flash and the high performance of that M67 bullet.... Yes, there is a lot to love with this ammo. Here's the deal the way I understand it. In the 1960s the Yugoslav government began trials on a new bullet designed to provide superior performance to that of the Russian M43. The final result of these trials was the 124 grain lead core M67 projectile. This bullet was deemed to have a greater wounding profile, while achieving greater speed and accuracy than the Soviet M43 .
This ammo is all brass, copper and lead based and is totally non-magnetic. The cases are made on annealed brass with a copper jacket over a lead bullet. Ammo is berdan primed for a long shelf life. It is mildly corrosive having corrosive properties in the primer which require clean up after shooting but those same properties extend the shelf life and sure fire capabilities even longer. It comes pre-loaded on SKS stripper clips which are totally re-usable and can be used to load all SKS rifles through the built in stripper clip guide on the bolt, or you can load AK mags with the use of an easily acquired AK mag speed loader. Ammo comes packed with 4 pre-loaded stripper clips per 40 round box. Back in the 80's and early 90's when ammo was coming in from China receiving ammo on stripper clips was very common and folks loved that it came that way. Now stripper clips have really dried up and tend to command a premium. In fact we saw some at a gun show recently selling for $2.00 each. As such, just the stripper clips themselves have a real value. We sell this by the box with a price break at the case ( 28 boxes ) qty. If ordered in case quantities ammo will ship in it's original hermetically sealed 1120 tin inside the original reusable wooden crate. If you wish to order by the case simply order in 28 box quantities.
We sell this by the 40 round box.
