The Winchester 535773220, known as the Winchester XPR, is a ground-breaking rifle designed to cater to the high-performance needs of today's sophisticated hunters. Its sturdy, straightforward design is set to serve you year after year, delivering game and filling your freezer. Above all, the well-equipped XPR bolt-action rifle encapsulates the consistent quality associated with Winchester Repeating Arms.
At the core of every XPR rifle is Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. This system utilizes a trigger housing and all internal components manufactured from polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish, ensuring resistance against wear and tear as well as corrosion. The two-position safety is strategically placed for smooth, thumb-operated control.
A bpqt release button positioned just before the safety button, facilitates the action to cycle unfired cartridges even when the safety is on. A tactile and visual signal of the rifle's cocked/uncocked state is provided by the cocking indicator on the bolt shroud.
The robust XPR bolt, manufactured from hardened chromoly steel barstock, supports front locking via three lugs and presents a short 60-degree lift for better scope clearance during cycling. Plus, its nickel Teflon coating ensures smooth functioning and enhanced corrosion resilience.
Favoring gloved use, the one-piece trigger guard and the magazine frame design incorporate a spacious guard opening. The XPR rifle sports a chromoly steel barrel that is precisely button-rifled to provide exceptional accuracy with diverse bullet weights and types. Removal of any pressure points that could jeopardize accuracy is achieved by a completely free-floating barrel.
Furthermore, the XPR features a synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, a detachable single stack box magazine, and a drilled & tapped chromoly steel receiver to complete its high-end build.
