Introducing the Winchester 535705236 - a stellar combination of the WINCHESTER™ XPR™ Hunting Rifle and Vortex Scope. Highly efficient and supremely accurate, this combination is a treasure for any hunting aficionado.
The rifle's chromoly steel bolt is through-hardened, heat-treated, and coated with Nickel Teflon®, making it supremely rigid and durable. It proudly boasts three front locking lugs and a short 60° lift. The bolt handle is a single piece with a sculpted design. All of this has been designed to be easily disassembled on the field, requiring no special tools.
The receiver, like the bolt, is precision-machined, through-hardened, heat-treated chromoly steel - quality that resists flex and twist under even the most adverse conditions. It's precisely drilled and tapped for 8-40 screws, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
The carbon steel barrel is free-floated, button-rifled, and features a recessed target-style crown. The blued M.o.a. Trigger System (factory set at 3.5 lbs.) results in a zero take-up, overtravel, and creep, making firing the rifle a seamless experience.
Safety features include a thumb-operated 2-position safety, which retracts the trigger away from the actuator, and a bolt-release button that allows action to cycle unfired cartridges while keeping safety enabled. There's also a cocking indicator on the bolt shroud.
The rifle is completed with a black Advanced Polymer Stock that comes with all-weather grip panels and swivel studs, a forend with rounded edges, slightly flattened bottom profile, and an Inflex Technology recoil pad. The matte blue metal finish provides a sleek look and feel. The rifle uses a single-stack polymer mag and its Length of Pull (LOP) is 13.75".
