Possible Glock 47 Frame / Slide Combos

Without swapping out any internal components, the Glock 47 can accept a compact slide on a full-size frame or a full-size slide on a compact frame. The pistol could also be configured much like a standard Glock 19, only with upgraded features inherent with the Glock 47 platform.

The Glock 47: Is It Worth It?

The Glock 47 is a great choice for anyone who already owns one or more Glock 9mm handguns, as this pistol adds a degree of modularity to existing models. However, there are better options available for those who are merely looking for a customizable defensive shooting platform, as the Sig P320 or the Springfield Echelon do not require the purchase of a second firearm to be considered truly "modular."
